THE FLASH: Barry Allen Faces His Daughter's Wrath In The New Promo For Season 5, Episode 4: "News Flash"

After a few weeks of tension, it sounds like next week's episode will finally have Nora reveal exactly what happened between her and Iris in the future, but first, she's going to take aim at her father!

Thanks to some trickery and Sherloque Wells (Tom Cavanagh), Team Flash managed to successfully save Cisco (Carlos Valdes) from Cicada's (Chris Klein) dagger, but it doesn't sound like he'll be suiting up again anytime soon as he's going to have to lay low until Barry (Grant Gustin) can find a way to stop the seemingly unstoppable villain.

Next week, Nora takes center stage and based on the promo, it looks like she's finally going to come clean about what happened between her and Iris (Candice Patton) in the future that resulted in such a frosty relationship.

However, it doesn't look like Team Flash will have much time to absorb the new information since Spin (Kiana Madeira) will take aim at XS and set her loose on her father.

"News Flash" - (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) (TV-PG, V) (HDTV)

NORA IS TARGETED BY A DANGEROUS META - Barry (Grant Gustin) and Iris (Candice Patton) face the ultimate parenting test when Team Flash battles Spin (guest star Kiana Madeira), a savvy millennial armed with meta tech, and a dangerous agenda for their daughter, Nora (Jessica Parker Kennedy). Ralph (Hartley Sawyer) is feeling defeated until an unlikely source issues a challenge to help boost his confidence. Brent Crowell directed the episode written by Kelly Wheeler & Lauren Certo (#504). Original airdate 10/30/2018.

Matching wits with The Thinker, who by season’s end had harnessed the powers of all twelve bus metas he created, stretched Team Flash to their limits, but with the help of some new allies, Barry Allen (aka The Flash) and company were able to put a stop to the Enlightenment and save Central City once again. However, with the arrival of Barry and Iris’ speedster daughter, Nora, who arrived from the future admitting to having made a “big mistake,” things are anything but status quo. Will parenthood be the challenge that finally slows The Flash down?

A pretty decent episode, I'd call it 'good' even. Much better than last week's episode, and probably overall stronger than the premiere.

The opening with the Flash museum was pretty neat, lots of easter eggs there! And Nora telling the history of all the heroes trying to defeat Cicada was neat.
Cisco needs to get over Gypsy. His complaining is poorly written and poorly acted. That was old and boring in episode 1, this is episode 3.
A city of 14 million people in the U.S.?? LMFAO
Sherlock Wells was fine, though he got a bit annoying in the middle. Also, his powers of deduction with the forest were complete B.S. As a biologist, that was laughably bad.
Nora's immaturity is getting pretty old. She is supposed to be this highly intelligent individual and master detective and yet she keeps acting immature. Its already been revealed to her that she needs to not be so rash in her decisions. Yeah, she pulled through for the final fight but will this stick going forward or will she continue to cause problems?
Cicada continues to be very good, best Flash villain for sure so far since season 2.
Barry needs to learn how to fight. 5 seasons in and he can't defend himself.
Did we just get a tease of the Tornado Twins at the end? Cause it certainly looked like that. If so, then Nora hiding this secret is another attempt by the writers to create unnecessary drama. Enough with the secrets on this show.
And if its clear that Nora has screwed up the timeline, then why not send her back to the future before she causes any further issues?

I used to think any mystery on The Flash was captivating and intriguing. Now I'm just like, "Oh whatever. Get to the point"
