It looks like Ralph Dibny (Hartley Sawyer) is about to have a major break in his missing persons case as TV Line is reporting that The Flash has cast Natalie Dreyfuss (The Originals; Still the King) in a recurring role as the Elongated Man's future wife Sue Dearbon.

The CW describes her as "possessing a fierce intelligence and a spitfire personality, Sue Dearbon is the daughter to one of Central City’s most wealthy families. But there’s much more to Sue than just the socialite reputation that always precedes her, which master detective Ralph will discover when they finally meet later during Season 6."

The hit series was off last week, but will return next Tuesday with a Ralph-centric hour as he and Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) go on an undercover mission and based on the timing of this news, it wouldn't be a stretch to assume we might be meeting Sue much sooner rather than later.

"License to Elongate" - (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) (TV-PG, V) (HDTV)

RALPH GOES DEEP UNDERCOVER - Barry (Grant Gustin) turns his attention to prepping Elongated Man (Hartley Sawyer) for life after Crisis and without The Flash, but Ralph ultimately teaches Barry a lesson. Meanwhile, Cecile (Danielle Nicolet) faces her own moment of self-discovery while helping a recuperated Chester P. Runk (guest star Brandon McKnight) reclaim his identity. Danielle Panabaker directed the episode written by Thomas Pound & Jeff Hersh (#606). Original airdate 11/19/2019.

There she is.

I think the next episode coupled with the return of Ultraviolet is pointing towards that Sue is going to turn out to be involved with that organization that is turning metas into their assassins.

Looking forward to see how the chemistry with her and Ralph.

The Identity Crisis story hinges on THAT assault. I can't see the Arroverse adapting that story. However, that comic run when Eclipso possessed Sue could work. Eclipso is just the right amount of cheesy to be on Flash.

@ImperiousRex - I thought Eclipso possessed Jean Loring. And the story that happens in is just as derided as Identity Crisis.

I doubt they'll go as dark as the comics did regarding her death but I would love it if they did.
