Like most of the current regulars on The Flash, Danielle Nicolet brought Cecile Horton to life in the first season of The CW superhero drama. However, unlike the others, her role began as a very small one with a total of just two episodes under her belt.

Yet, this all changed in Season 3,  when Cecile became a love interest for Joe West (Jesse L. Martin). From that point on, Nicolet's presence in the series grew, particularly during the fourth season, where she gained some useful telepathic abilities and defended Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) during his trial.

Now, she is set to gain even more face time on the show, as a report from Deadline reveals the actress has been promoted to a series regular for Season 5. How this change will affect the Cecile’s role is unclear, but it marks a significant journey for the actress that began as a minor character in a two-episode arc.
