THE FLASH: Take A Sinister Trip Into The Speed Force In These Revealing New Images

The CW has released the first images from next week's episode of The Flash and they feature the return of Jay Garrick, Eddie Thawne, Ronnie Raymond, and Captain Cold in the midst of the Speed Force.

When Barry Allen heads into the Speed Force to save Wally West in next week's episode of The Flash, he's going to be confronted by some familiar faces. We see them in the gallery of images below as the Fastest Man Alive comes face to face with Eddie Thawne, Ronnie Raymond, and Captain Cold. Those are likely just imaginary constructs, but it should still be fun to see the hero interacting with them.

Jay Garrick meanwhile appears to be real, but it remains to be seen how things will play out here.

BARRY TURNS TO THE SPEED FORCE – Desperate to stop Savitar and save his friends, Barry (Grant Gustin) turns to the speed force for answers. H.R. (Tom Cavanagh) gives Jesse (guest star Violett Beane) some advice. Gregory Smith directed the episode written by Brooke Roberts & Judalina Neira.

How's the timeline on this show?

JAY!!!

Man, any episode where John Wesley Shipp is there to knock some sense into Barry is a good episode.

And I'm still hoping that Savitar is Eddie. It would explain not only his grudge against the Flash, but his desire to get back at him by killing Iris.

@TheFox - Thing is, there's no way in hell Eddie would EVER kill Iris, as Savitar or not. Eddie loved her possibly even more than Barry does.

@ProselyteCanti - Love is a fickle emotion, man.

After learning that he was destined NOT to be with Iris, that he would instead sire a psychotic murderer in the forthcoming centuries, then killing himself to prevent that, and then getting sucked into a quantum singularity and being trapped in an extradimensional nexus for, presumably, a LONG-ass time-- while the nice guy you were friends with proposes to the girl you love and she forgets all about you?

Yeah, might make him a little vengeful.

We're not going to ignore that glaring.... design choice on the suit are we? On his chest? Where the flash symbol should be?
It's a little funny. Just a little.

Do Flash producers let at least ONE character dead? Or they will keep showing all the past actors over and over and over during the whole show?

@gambgel - In their defense, they are embracing the time honored traditions of the comics.

If Wally or Wells is Sarvitar i'm done with The Flash. Really, three seasons and the same plot twist "My friend is my nemesis" - Flash has a lot of good arcs and the guys couldn't think about anything than this? Why Sarvitar couldn't be just a manifestation of the speed force?

Oh shit Eddie's back?

I may watch this one.

I'm wondering if he isn't wearing his logo in order to don't draw the attention of the Time Wraiths. But then again Jay has his own one so it probably is something else.

Hope this Speed Force episode is as good as last year's.

I seriously wish they would just bring Eddie back permanently. I miss my detective pretty boy.
