Tonight's tricky installment of The Flash finally saw Ralph (Hartley Sawyer) realize his full potential and become the Elongated Man just in time to save Vibe (Carlos Valdes) and Killer Frost (Danielle Panabaker) from an acid bath.

Next week's episode will introduce a new meta with the ability to shrink anything he touches, which will, unfortunately, put both Cisco and Ralph in quite the predicament as they find themselves on the wrong side of his abilities. Meanwhile, Cecile (Danielle Nicolet) discovers that she's developed some meta abilities of her own while Barry (Grant Gustin) attempts to help his new friend (Bill Goldberg) prove his innocence.

Watch the new promo for episode twelve, titled "Honey, I Shrunk Team Flash," below:

"Honey, I Shrunk Team Flash" - (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) (Content Rating TBD) (HDTV)

THE INCREDIBLE SHRINKING MEN - A meta who can shrink anything he touches battles Team Flash. Cisco (Carlos Valdes) and Ralph (guest star Hartley Sawyer) get caught in his crossfire and are shrunk to miniature versions of themselves. Cecile (guest star Danielle Nicolet) realizes her pregnancy has caused her to have temporary powers and discovers she can hear other people's thoughts, which unnerves Joe (Jesse L. Martin). Meanwhile, Barry (Grant Gustin) meets someone with a mysterious connection to Henry Allen. Chris Peppe directed the episode written by Sam Chalsen & Judalina Neira (#412). Original airdate 1/30/2018.

Last season, Barry Allen aka The Flash used his extraordinary abilities to travel back in time and save his mother’s life, and inadvertently created an alternate timeline known as Flashpoint. The phenomenon not only gave birth to the villainous God of Speed known as Savitar, but changed the lives of Caitlin Snow and Wally West forever. With the help of his adoptive father, Detective Joe West, his fiancée Iris West, and his friends at S.T.A.R. Labs – Cisco Ramon and Harrison Wells -- Barry continues to protect the people of Central City from the meta-humans that threaten it. But first, he’ll have to escape the Speed Force – an extra-dimensional entity teeming with unknown dangers – that Barry sacrificed himself to in order to save Central City.

The Flash features:
Grant Gustin as Barry Allen/The Flash
Candice Patton as Iris West-Allen
Danielle Panabaker as Caitlin Snow/Killer Frost
Carlos Valdes as Cisco Ramon/Vibe
Tom Cavanagh as Dr. Harrison Wells
Jesse L. Martin as Detective Joe West
John Wesley Shipp as Henry Allen/Jay Garrick
Michelle Harrison as Nora Allen
Keiynan Lonsdale as Wally West/Kid Flash
Violett Beane as Jesse Quick
Tom Felton as Julian Dorn
Danielle Nicolet as Cecille Horton
Hartley Sawyer as Ralph Dibny/Elongated Man
Neil Sandilands as Clifford DeVoe/The Thinker

OK, so the whole Trickster subplot was kooky beyond comparison. And the episode in general was kinda filler. But dang... Elongated Man is my favorite character in this show. In talking about of all time, too.

The actor really knocks this role outta the park, and the CGI on him ain't half bad either. Really amazing addition to the show.

In somewhat related news....David Mazouz (Jerome) from Gotham said that "Justice League of Villains" is coming this spring.

Heard this was a pretty fun episode, I soon will check it out.

And seems that person at the end is indeed Dawn Allen, writing the same "Speed Force" symbols Barry was when he came out of the Speed Force.

The plot thickens.

@NinnesMBC - Has it been confirmed she's Dawn Allen because I have been thinking it's XS. She certainly acts more like XS.
