THE FLASH: Possible LEAKED Costume Test Photo Reveals A New, Comic Accurate Costume For The CW Series

There have been rumblings that the Fastest Man Alive will be getting a new costume in The Flash this year and now what appeared to be a leaked photo from a costume fitting reveals what it will look like...

In the first trailer for The Flash season five, Barry Allen received a gift from his daughter which should have been instantly recognisable to fans of the Scarlet Speedster's comic book exploits. We are, of course, talking about the ring which the hero can use to instantly don his costume and it now appears as if that will lead to him getting a totally redesigned suit which finally ditches the plastic leather.

As you can see below, The Flash's new suit will be a much more vibrant red and made of a cloth/spandex-type material. The chin strap around his chin has also been ditched which takes some getting used to. Overall, though, this looks really good and is definitely more along the lines of what fans want to see from the Fastest Man Alive (it's arguably also better than the suit in Justice League).

It's important to note that this leak could be fake and the image below has not been released officially by The CW. We'll have to wait and see. For now, be sure to let us know your thoughts down below.

Prototype leaked image looks good, as well as the fan manip of the other suit. Hopefully this show can get away from the over the top soap opera nonsense and back to its S1/2 roots.

Good...

Though the costume is the least of this show's worries.

I really liked season 1 of the flash but season 2 was meh at best. Season 3 lost me totally

@BlackLabsMatter - I agree that season one was the best. Was fun to see him using his powers to fight different baddies. After season one it felt like everyone was a speedster and a overload of sappiness.

@BlackLabsMatter - Exactly how I felt too. I couldn’t even get through season 3. Not even sure if I finished 2.

@BlackLabsMatter - I don't know why, but for some reason I enjoyed s2, but then I felt like year 3 fell off a cliff

I only finished up everything last fall to be caught up for the crossover, and after that I only finished Flash (barely) and Legends - but that's because Ryan's Constantine is my favorite DC character so I wanted to watch those / catch up for his true return to TV.

Looks like a cheap action figure, but it's only a test suit. I like the idea of a no leather suit, I hope the real deal is good. If only Gustin was a little buff.
