As Titans season four prepares to kickstart production, HBO Max has announced that Joseph Morgan (The Originals; The Vampire Diaries), Franka Potente (The Bourne Identity; Run Lola Run), and Lisa Ambalavanar (The A List; The Stuff of Legend) have joined the cast in key villainous roles.

Morgan will portray Sebastian Blood, a.k.a. Brother Blood, "an introverted man with a strong intelligence and a hidden, darker nature," while Potente will play May Bennett, a.k.a. Mother Mayhem, "a natural leader who always carries the threat of violence with her... a predator in human form with an unfettered belief in her mission in the world." Both will be series regulars.

Ambalavanar will appear in a recurring capacity as Jinx, who is described as "a quick-witted criminal loner and a master of dark magic with a joy for manipulating others and creating chaos while doing it."

Brenton Thwaites (Dick Grayson/Nightwing), Anna Diop (Koriand'r/Starfire), Teagan Croft (Rachel Roth/Raven), Ryan Potter (Gar Logan/Beast Boy), Conor Leslie (Donna Troy), Joshua Orpin (Conner Kent/Superboy), Damaris Lewis (Komand'r/Blackfire) and Jay Lycurgo (Tim Drake) are all expected to reprise their respective roles.

While it's currently unclear when the series will return, it seems likely we'll see the debut of new episodes before the end of the year.

Will he be big bad or will they once again resort to turning this into a Nightwing show with an occasional Titan cameo…

Like really for 2 seasons they were building up Blackfire as a big bad clearly…then she is captured offscreen by not the titans, gets broken out by Starfire and then works with them, so they can bring in 2 batman villains as big bad

Really brother blood should have been the season 1 big bad, connect the church of blood to Trigon and build him up for a later season
Arthorious - 1/31/2022, 9:39 PM
@dracula - you’re asking for too much from this show.
RockBottom - 1/31/2022, 8:58 PM
Great. Actual Teen Titans villains.
Killuminatic - 1/31/2022, 8:59 PM
Stop watching this show people. The money could be spent on good things.
GhostDog - 1/31/2022, 9:02 PM
This show just a Batman supporting character soap opera
Malatrova234 - 1/31/2022, 9:03 PM
This series its the definition of wasted time.
Bucnastydathird - 1/31/2022, 9:04 PM
phuck the titans
MyCoolYoung - 2/1/2022, 1:57 AM
@Bucnastydathird - no. Only batman
JFerguson - 1/31/2022, 9:05 PM
Nightwing would be awesome to see in a movie. I don't think he will appear in Batgirl even though its rumored. I really want to see a Robin for Reeves' batman. But if we get the Nightwing from Keaton's universe I won't complain
ModHaterSLADE - 1/31/2022, 9:12 PM
Damn good news. This guy plays a great villain.
LukeCage2155 - 2/1/2022, 1:11 AM
@ModHaterSLADE - Hell yeah.
Nightmare - 1/31/2022, 9:26 PM
Could have spent the money on reviving Swamp Thing. Maybe 4th times a charm.
MitcHendricks - 1/31/2022, 10:12 PM
LOL.
KWilly - 1/31/2022, 10:15 PM
Man, I remember this guy on the Teen Titans cartoon. He gave Cyborg absolute fits. Literally ripped his robot parts one by one, lol.

soberchimera - 1/31/2022, 10:36 PM
@KWilly - Interesting how they had to call Deathstroke, Slade, but there was no need to rename Brother Blood.
KWilly - 1/31/2022, 10:38 PM
@soberchimera - Which funny enough, worked out. Cuz the name Slade still sounds cool and sinister.

Finally H.I.V.E. in live action!!!
MitcHendricks - 2/1/2022, 12:54 AM
@FusionWarrior - They were on Arrow.
Lokiwasright - 1/31/2022, 11:30 PM
This is still on? 🤣😅😂

Gothic Titans last I checked.

Good casting I suppose for Brother Blood. 2nd live action adaptation after Arrow's very grounded take on it on Season 2.

Just like with season 3, there is a very low chance I'll be watching this season. Between this and Batwoman, I'd say I only get to watch them as I accidentally switch between channels
VincentValjean - 2/1/2022, 7:31 AM
This thing has a fourth season? Really??
RitoRevolto - 2/1/2022, 9:51 AM
Last season was such a chore to get through.
Tufasrox - 2/1/2022, 11:23 AM
I try and I try to watch this mess but oh man. The last episode I watch they turned Jonathan Crane into a pot head joke. Someone told me Crane didn't wear his mask once the entire season despite being the main villain hahaha.
