"He's the only man Bruce Wayne was ever afraid of."

Following a couple of brief teasers, HBO Max has shared a full trailer for the first part of Titans season 4, which is set to premiere on the streaming service on November 3rd.

The promo brings us up to speed with the returning heroes, while also introducing new threats Lex Luthor (Titus Welliver), Brother Blood (Joseph Morgan), Mother Mayhem (Franka Potente) and Jinx (Lisa Ambalavanar).

Based on what we see here, it looks like Luthor is going to seek out dark magic in an attempt to contact and ultimately control Superboy (Joshua Orpin), who was created from a combination of Superman and Lex's DNA. The Boy of Steel's teammates have his back, but they're going to have their own problems to deal with in the form of some formidable new villains.

Check out the trailer below along with a new poster, and let us know what you think.

Brenton Thwaites (Dick Grayson/Nightwing), Anna Diop (Koriand'r/Starfire), Teagan Croft (Rachel Roth/Raven), Ryan Potter (Gar Logan/Beast Boy), Connor Leslie (Donna Troy), Damaris Lewis (Komand'r/Blackfire) and Jay Lycurgo (Tim Drake) are all set to reprise their respective roles.

Titans will premiere with a double-episode, with new instalments released on a weekly basis until its midseason finale on December 1. It will then take a mini-hiatus before returning in 2023 with an additional six episodes.

Bruce Wayne afraid of Lex Luthor? That’s terrible.

@BreakTheCode - He probably should be. In this universe, Lex could KO frail old Bruce with a single punch.

So season 4 part one? Are we getting similar drops like young justice?

That show has done more justice to these characters but its still good to see Superboy and Nightwing in live action.

Just saw battle of the super sons last night

There were 1 or 2 moments i think the movements could have been smoother but was one great movie and high quality animation

Show has its days numbered, glad we have Lex, i really wanted to see him in the show among Clark AND Ra's al Ghul after they where teasing him so much in the last season (which was trash).

I must be the only one here who likes this show lol. It's certainly not without flaws, & can be frustrating with its inconsistency & forced edginess, but I still enjoy it for what it is. Hopefully this season will tighten things up a bit.

I forgot about this.

Season 1 was dark and dull

I was the biggest New Teen Titans fan/reader back in the day -- liked it better than X-Men -- and i can't bring myself to watch anymore of this series after watch portions of a couple of episodes of Season One. It was terrible. Has this improved?

@GeneralZod - no its maybe even worse… like one -two decent episodes per season.

@GeneralZod - If you binge watch the seasons or just watch once the season (or half) is out it’s okay. As individual episodes go they’re all trash.

Dick Grayson is so broody and glum on this show. A far cry from his ever optimistic, wise cracking self. The bluish color filter kind of sucks too. Wanted to like this show but partway through season 02 I didn't want to keep up with it anymore. Love that krypto is on this, hands down the best character on the show.

@Ojeet78 - He is pretty gloomy in the Wolfman Perez original run. I could only imagine this site going nuts if he joined Brother Blood's cult like he did in that run.

Season 3 was not that great at all but this trailer gives me hope.

At least it looks like Superboy has something to do now. They always found a way to sideline him last season.

Won't lie, this is probably is their best poster. The roster has shrunk considerably a lot but then again it used to be quite crowded in the last two previous Seasons so it kind of works in this case.

Although Starfire's head appears to be photoshopped for some reason and Tim Drake + Raven having their costumes would work for the best.

Mother Mayhem seems to be the main antagonist of this first part.

Luthor and the ocult, an unexpected and weird combo. But all in all all seems like a probable red herring to hide Joseph Morgan's rise as Brother Blood.

Wished they had gotten rid of the blue filter but alas at this point it's staying.

And it appears the character crososver between Beast Boy and Stargirl is being saved for the 2nd half since it's not teased anywhere here.
