AGATHA: COVEN OF CHAOS "Witches' Road" Special Presentation Reportedly Reveals What Happened To Scarlet Witch

We've recently heard that Agatha: Coven of Chaos will be followed by a Special Presentation exploring the Witches' Road, and it sounds like it will be there we finally learn the Scarlet Witch's fate...

When Bob Chapek was Disney CEO, he set out to fill the company's streaming service with as much content as possible. Bob Iger is back in charge now, though, and a combination of Disney+'s recent financial issues and loss of subscribers has led to some big changes.

For starters, he's already confirmed that less Marvel Studios content will be produced for the platform, suggesting those "Special Presentations" may soon be no more.

It's thought that at least one more is on the way as we've heard a story based on the Witches' Road was shot at the same time as Agatha: Coven of Chaos. In the comics, that's a plane of existence only sorcerers can tread, and since that news broke, it's been unclear how the concept would be adapted for Disney+.

Well, we now have an idea.

According to a post on r/MarvelStudiosSpoilers, the same leaker who revealed full plot breakdowns for Tales of the Jedi has confirmed this Special Presentation will revolve around Elizabeth Olsen's Scarlet Witch.

In fact, it's here we'll supposedly learn how the former Avenger managed to survive her apparent demise in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness

Wanda Maximoff could appear in Agatha: Coven of Chaos, but we'd actually take this as a sign of that not being overly likely. Still, if the standalone story sets the stage for the Scarlet Witch to find redemption and be key to the wider Multiverse Saga, that's something fans will surely welcome.

New details have also been revealed about Billy Maximoff/Billy Kaplan's role in the upcoming Disney+ series ahead of its expected premiere next year. You can learn more about that in the Instagram post below.

I think this show will get the lowest viewship in streaming service history.

No one cares about manface Agatha
She's not been around long enough
Mcu shows are the shits
Secret invasion may reflect this shows result.

"I think this show will get the lowest viewship in streaming service history."

That would be close to impossible.

@Lokiwasright - You can't call someone manface unless you are showing yours. So I guess that tells us everything we need to know lol.

If they were smart they'd cancel this series along with a majority of the others and just focus on quality, but instead they just push back series or films and it's still the same mess.

This franchise needs a full reboot immediately, as in scrap everything and start over. No more building up to a reboot with Secret Wars, what's the point when the content's quality has declined so much. The world building is a mess, most the actors want out and a lot of the foundational building blocks of your future films have barely been viewed and generally disliked.

@Scarilian - Even with recent quality control issues the MCU is still the most successful shared universe in the history of film! Both in terms of financial and crossover shared storytelling. You want to throw away 12 years of infrastructure for the last 2?? Remember how long it took to gradually build up these character dynamics? They would just be back where they started, like DC has been for the last 10 years! It would be much easier to work with what they have and improve than to reset everything. Plus some of us still like the Universe...

@Scarilian - If they were smart, they'd cancel this show that wrapped production four months ago?

Most pointless show so far and that's saying something. Cancel the whole multiverse and give it a rest before you REALLY ruin every glorious thing that came before it.

@MarvelousMarty - Far too late for that. The bad movies ruined it before the multiverse got a chance.

Show sounds great, probably the most excited I'm for a MCU show next to Daredevil and Loki S2.

"...the Scarlet Witch to find redemption..."

Yeah because a multidimensional homicidal mass-murderer is always just a "I'm sorry" away from rejoining the ranks of the heroes again! 🙄

@SuperiorHeckler - Yeah, It's pretty hard to redeem that.

And Multiverse of Madness sure didn't do much to dispel the stereotype that women are emotionally unstable.

@SuperiorHeckler - no one seemed to care that she'd held hostage and tortured 3000 people for weeks so I guess they'll shrug this off too

Who thought a show about a tertiary character no one knows or cares about was a good idea, scarlet witch is played out, magic in mcu has a place, but who cares, its about superheroes, not magic. Doc strange has explored magic, madness was the beginning of the end for mcu and someone makes this, I won't watch. This will tank, like , like a balling ball in a river. Follow canon, listen to fans. Dog 🐕 🛷 shit.

@cubichy - Considering there are quite a few Marvel superheroes and villains who are closely associated with magic, this is a wild take.

@RitoRevolto - agreed, my point is that it's been done, do we need a tertiary carácter, no one knows to continue down this road. Bring me hulk vs volverine, wolverine vs thor, molecule man vs avengers, spiderman with daredevil, stuff we wanna see in NYC,in mainstream, not these off the wall stories no one cares about. Stay on canon and listen to fans.

This show has a lot of potential to do exactly what I've always thought D+ should do. deliver side running content to the MCU in a TV format. Problem with a lot of D+ entries, Secret Invasion being the most recent and notable, is that they don't fully know what they are supposed to be. or Ms Marvel is a great example.
Probably the best example. That show could've been six episodes of Kamala getting her powers and learning to use them and butting heads against her family and friends. THAT... would've been SO GOOD.
instead, halfway thru the whole thing gets derailed into some Big Bad endgame.
The TV shows do not work successfully on that level. what they do exceptionally well is small scale things like the front end of Ms Marvel. the front end of Moon Knight. The front end of Falcon, the front end of Hawkeye.

And I'd even toss in WandaVision as antoher. all shows that could've been totally great, if they had just executed their initial premise. without some grandstandiong endgame to rush to in the last few episodes.
I am guessing this show will cdo the same unfortunate formula but at some point, Marvel NEEDS TO consider what these shows are actually supposed to be.

I am here, I was a long time user and long time lover of the MCU. But I am back to make this account with the sole purpose of chiming in on how the MCU needs to get better. Because recently, they've been objectively failing. We need better quality, Feige. please to god, come in these comments and listen to what you're doing wrong. Because Marvel is doing so much wrong right now.
We need to fix this shit by the time the X-Men come.

She doesn’t get redemption. She murdered many people. She went all the way bad. She deserves her death and for that matter so does Loki. He murdered Colsen and was responsible for thousands of deaths in The Battle of NYC.

Tired of these murdering characters getting redemption.
