AGATHA: HOUSE OF HARKNESS - Elizabeth Olsen Responds To Rumors Scarlet Witch Will Appear In The Series

We first met Agatha Harkness in WandaVision, and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness star Elizabeth Olsen has now responded to rumours that we'll see the Scarlet Witch appear in the Disney+ series.

In the WandaVision finale, the Scarlet Witch trapped Agatha Harkess in Westview as nosy neighbour Agnes. Whether the events of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will free her from that mental prison remains to be seen, but we're definitely intrigued to see where Agatha: House of Harkness takes the character. The question is, will Wanda Maximoff be involved?

In the video below, Elizabeth Olsen addresses the rumours and theories that she'll appear in the upcoming Disney+ series. "I mean I would do anything with [Kathryn] Hahn, yeah. I mean no, I’m not appearing in it," she said. "Again, not as far as I’m aware. But I love that woman so much. Fabulous. So fun. That entire show [WandaVision] was just filled with lots of joy. Yeah, it was great."

We can't help but think we will see the Scarlet Witch in the show as it would be fitting for her to better master her powers alongside an experienced witch like Agatha. No real details have been shared about Agatha: House of Harkness, unfortunately, so we don't even know if it's set in the present!

Marvel Studios is continuing to explore the supernatural side of the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Phase 4, so with or without the Scarlet Witch, we're sure this story will be an important one. There was no sign of Agatha in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, of course, so we have to assume she still is in Westview...unless S.W.O.R.D. decided to take "Agnes" into custody given her past.

Agatha: House of Harkness is coming soon to Disney+.

If the theme isn't Agatha All Along, even if it's just an instrumental and the tempo is changed, then someone needs to be fired.

On a stake. Set on fire on a stake. Like a witch. In honor of Agatha being a witch.

I still dont get the point of this show...another season of Wandavision (just "Wanda" now) would've been better.

@TheHumanSpider2 - I don't know. I mean how do you do another season of WandaVision? They cant exactly have her take over another town and act surprised that she's doing it. They need to move beyond the "out of control Wanda doing things she doesn't really want to" phase.

@TheHumanSpider2 - The point is to watch the show to learn what the point of it is. That's kinda how this stuff works.

@CorndogBurglar - That's why I said "Wanda".
I meant another show about Wanda, it doesnt have to follow the same narrative.

@Drace24 - You could apply that to the El Muerto movie, doesnt mean I watching it.

@TheHumanSpider2 - I doubt if it will have much if anything to do with Wanda... Agatha had her own thing going on before Wanda. And for Feige to green light it so quickly that means they already have a good idea for a show.

@TheHumanSpider2 - Drace is right tho. Of course you don't know the point of it yet. We know nothing about it.

As for El Muerto. That's a false equivalent. One, that character isn't established AT ALL. And two, it's being produced by a studio with a shit track record making Spider-Man spinoffs with no Spider-Man.

@JonC - Wanda is coming back, and they need to redeem her character...turning her evil again would be boring.

I thought this sounded like the most pointless show they’ve greenlit, but after Multiverse of Madness…I’m not so sure. I’m not saying Wanda will be involved, but I think there is a good possibility she will be, and even greater possibility the show will play into her return or future arc.

@MrDandy - I'm also expecting that this show will fill us in on Darkhold and Elder God lore.

Between this show and Echo though, they do still feel kinda pointless though.

@bkmeijer1 - With absolutely no idea what direction they're taking these stories what exactly feels pointless? Lol. This ain't Sony. Feige ain't just green lighting stories for no reason.

@Tonic24k - true. But not knowing what direction they are taking them in (as in what point they're working towards), is why they feel pointless.

That said, Feige and Marvel Studios have proven more than enough I trust them with whatever they plan to do. Can't say that for Sony.

@bkmeijer1 - Sony is point blank oblivious at this point. I hate complaining but man do they give me a good reason to. Lol

I would highly doubt she would appear in it other than a stinger at the end. Now Agatha Harkness appearing in a Scarlet Witch movie taking on the mentor role she has in the comics is a no duh. But first we get this series which will take Agatha from the villainous place she was at to the point where she would want to mentor Wanda.

@TheUnworthyThor - If I were doing the planning I would put Agatha in a teaser at the end of a Fantastic Four movie. Reed and Sue would be discussing caretakers, knock on the door, and as they open it the chords for Agatha All Along (Because F U that song is great) start up as she's at the door, big smile on her face and holding out her resume for the job. Kind of like Mary Poppins.

TheUnworthyThor - 5/10/2022, 4:21 PM
@Reeds2Much - You would have Reed and Sue already have kids by the end of the first Fantastic Four movie?
CorndogBurglar
CorndogBurglar - 5/10/2022, 4:24 PM
@TheUnworthyThor - I wouldn't mind that. It would help fast track the idea of Franklin being a really powerful mutant once they get around to introducing the X-Men and mutants, rather than him not even being born yet, or a toddler.

Then an entire sequel could be about Franklin screwing with reality or creating a pocket dimension.
TheUnworthyThor
TheUnworthyThor - 5/10/2022, 4:46 PM
@CorndogBurglar - Why would we want to fast track any of that? Disney/Marvel is in this for the long haul, I’m sure they want to be telling these mutant stories for many, many years.
