Wasn't this supposed to be a mini series?

@Melkaticox

It is a mini series with the intent for a another season or two.......

Just like Galavant which was a four week event with intent for another season if it did well with viewers etc......

it is a limited series meaning the first season is 8 episodes regardless of popularity. A normal show could have 8 episodes ordered originally with more ordered once the show proves successful. That happened when they extended Gotham's first season.

A limited series also means it CAN have a 2nd season. A mini-series is not intended to go beyond the original run.

BUT with the ratings for this, it doesn't look like we will get season 2.

This has been much better than first season of AOS. Ratings don't look good but I really hope there will be another season. 1940s setting is very refreshing, it's so different compared to other comic book shows.

This show will get cancelled. Too bad because it's better than AoS.

Agent Carter will likely be canceled. However, we don't really need anything more. We create too many specifics about the "past" and it will only cause the writers to accidentally make time paradoxes for the "present".

Also the Marvel Cinematic Universe is only going to be more and more confusing if plots aren't kept short and sweet. This isn't a comic book. Viewers shouldn't have to do homework to know what's happening in their films or why things are the way they are.

It's unfortunate that this might be the last episode of the show ever. I know ratings haven't been good, but the show's cast is charming and really deserve better. There are times when the script lags a little, but it has really picked up in the last couple of episodes.

I wouldn't mind Netflix picking this show up and turning it to a more cinematic and character-driven show that explores the history of the MCU.

Agent Pointless is almost over? I didn't notice. Does that chick even have flaws? I hate flawless characters. It's the female Ferris Bueller working for S.H.I.E.L.D. At least have someone criticize her and be right.

This series BETTER pay off.

Erin Torpey played the "Betty Carver" actress?? Now there's a Marvel Animation connection--she voiced the Invisible Woman on The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes.

Man it has gone by quickly. I'm in love with this show, and will be happy if we get another 8 episodes for season 2.

Damn guys, I now know why governments and corporations get away with so much: some of you don't read shit!

Mini. Series.

If it does really well (reviews are super good, only Americans give a damn about ratings), then they may do another mini series on Agent Carter.

And if you don't enjoy the show, you don't understand subtlety, nor do you know the Marvel Universe as well as you think. They drop tons of links in this show.

Agent Carter is BORING. THE WINTER SOLDIER tv show would be good.
NovaCorpsFan
NovaCorpsFan - 2/7/2015, 6:30 AM
@TheMarvelMan
And that would consist of what? A character who never speaks being frozen at the end of every episode after killing someone? The whole season would have to take place over the course of a day like 24. That'd suck dick.

@batman001: And yet she's ALWAYS right, which is my point.

WTF? So if we don't like what you like, there's something wrong with us? LOL! What kind of Bizzaro-ass universe do you live in?

It's a great show, so I hope a second season is planned.

I want to see more Marvel stories like Agent Carter told in a tight condensed story that doesn't have time for fluff or filler. Kinda like an expanded Marvel One Shot

I read half the comments, and I have no freaking idea how you guys are judging this show, This show is awesome, Comic book movies/shows do not, and I repeat have to have super powered hero's/villain's riddled through the whole show or at all.
This show is awesome on many levels, humans were not even aware of the other realms and crap up until AOS, so this show is right on the money on what they are dealing with.
Enjoy different aspects of what marvel is giving, they are showing much range in their comic movie's/T.V. shows.
