Mack (Henry Simmons) and Deke (Jeff Ward) are stuck in 1982 and judging by the promo for next week's episode, it looks like their new setting is going to lead to some seriously '80s shenanigans as the pair partner up to take down an army of new hunter robots.

Neither an episode synopsis nor any promotional stills have been released just yet, but ABC/Marvel should be releasing those by the end of the week, so fans should have much better insight on what to expect next Wednesday night.

@Himura - It was a nice somber change of pace to break up the string of more whimsical episodes.

Another excellent episode this season, following the last two excellent ones. This is how you do it. Its episodes like this that make SHIELD second to none and truly tier 1: exhilarating, thrilling, emotional, action-packed, funny, tense, cinematic. Really going to miss this show when it ends.

So, tonight. Where to begin!?! Guess its best by grouping. I'm really enjoying Sousa and Daisy together, those two have good chemistry together and I've been enjoying their interactions these past couple episodes. Really is so great having Sousa along for these episodes, and I really liked him taking care of Daisy: "I'm right where I need to be." Also, unless I'm seeing things, I think there really is some chemistry going on, certainly from Sousa's end tonight.

Glad we finally got the explanation for what's going on with Simmons, now all makes sense. Also, Deke apologizing to Enoch was freaking hilarious. "That is the nicest compliment one could ask for. Apology accepted" or something like that. LMFAO Enoch.

Coulson, May and Stoner were great. Warburton was great especially tonight as Stoner. "I believe you" Lol. I liked the bodyswitching chronicom plot, and I liked Coulson having a "Captain Marvel" like moment with Sibil, that was a really great conversation. Clark Gregg is such a damn treat. Wonder how much of Coulson survived the explosion.

Mack and Yoyo. Aye aye aye. I really was liking Mack reuniting with and helping his parents escape, did not see them being Chronicoms, the hurt and tragic realization in Mack's face and eyes was real.

So, it seems that the timeline was kind of course-corrected after this episode. Nathaniel Malick is dead. Project Insight destroyed, the lighthouse preserved, Stoner alive, and a cover story to hide what went on at the Lighthouse. Works for me.

god damn. first a fake daughter, now fake parents. and daisy nearly going through the same procedure as her mom. they really know how to put them through the ringer. i think that fitz is either hidden where ever the predictor is and thats how he is tracking their moves through time, or he is someplace that will allow him to pick up mack and the D, which would be a great way to bring him back in

oh and i was so glad to see daisy's powers destroying malick. it was honestly my first thought of what would happen if he took them.

Next week's episode looks like a bit more of a light-hearted, laid back change of pace after these last several tense episodes. Cool. From the previews, looks like its going to be one hell of a good time. Also, seems like this will be season 7's version of last season's 3rd episode "Fear and Loathing on the Planet Kitson," one of if not the show's funniest episode ever.

How can people compliment this show getting better and better? Its gotten worse and worse! what was this episode even? Its like they crammed 3 eps into one! Rushed too many scenes. And wdf is with the next ep preview?

I miss the earlier seasons, once they started this off world shit was when it started getting bad.

Anyone else get a Cannon Films vibe from the upcoming episode? This would be the kind of aesthetic for one of their sci-fi flicks from back then.
