Most shows are far better in the 2nd, and 3rd, season. The writers and cast have settled into the show, figured out what it's really about and who the people are, the relationships etc. It's very rare that a show's first season is as good, or close, to later seasons. That's why, when a show's first season is awesome, it's a show you should try to stick with. Of course some shows fall apart in later seasons too.

Are you kidding me? This will be the best thing since sliced bread. It is the only other "people with powers" series that actually matters, unlike all the generic ones past and present. There should be no "people with powers" series on television that isn't either part of DC or Marvel and, by extension, Top Cow and Image. The 4400 and Heroes: Season 1 get a pass, because those were awesomesauce.
