Marvel's Cloak & Dagger is all set for its grand debut this summer and earlier today, Marvel and Freeform debuted the official final trailer for the upcoming series. 

Aubrey Joseph and Olivia Holt star as the two teenaged heroes who gain mysterious superpowers after being caught in a terrible accident when they were young kids. The series picks up nearly a decade after the accident with both of them on seriously different paths. However, as fate would have it, a chance encounter between the two will reawaken what's been hidden inside them for almost their entire lives and kickstart an all-new Marvel adventure.

Nice trailer. Great choice of music too.

Since this is my first exposure to Cloak and Dagger I may be wrong, but it seems that the type of relationship they are selling and telling us here is that they gotta be partners and work together to stop these "a-holes". I could be wrong. I just know them from few places like the supporting characters from the Maximum Carnage game and some comics. Seems they have different love interests, at least Cloak as seen there, that other girl that was making out with someone didn't seem to be Dagger.

But yes good trailer. My interested as at it's peak.

That's doing something for me. Looks a little more racially-charged, Post-Katrina New Orleans-specific, and dare-I-say a bit deeper than I was expecting. Was interested before, now significantly interested.

@Spock0Clock - Yeah, I really hate pointless love stories and romantic interest arcs in cbm’s and cbtv shows. But in something like this, when it is central to the plot (and it seems to be in some way here), it’s fine. Adding it in as something for supporting characters to do annoys me.

Hopefully this is only 10-14 episodes.

Gives me a runaways feeling, but instead of having the power to be the kid of rich people these guys have real powers. Looking forward to this

Out of all the Marvel characters, never in my wildest dreams did I ever get to think we would see a Cloak and Dagger show. Two of my favorite Marvel characters....but the show should have been on Netflix. But still...loving what I see.

Doesn't seem to have much in common with the comics. I was excited about this, but the trailer makes it look really boring.
