HAWKEYE: 5 Bold Predictions For The Next Four Episodes Of Marvel Studios' Latest Disney+ Series

With just four episodes of Hawkeye left after that memorable two-part premiere, we can't help but get excited about what surprises could still be in store for us over the next month or so.

The penultimate episode lands right before Spider-Man: No Way Home swings into theaters, while the finale drops shortly after. That could have more meaning than it initially appears, especially as both projects appear to share a Christmastime setting; throw in what we know about Yelena Belova's role in the series and other big rumours, and we've come up with some bold predictions!

From surprise cameos to how Hawkeye can set up future seasons of this show, we dive into a lot here. Needless to say, there are potential spoilers, but we're sure you'll be intrigued by what you'll find.

5. Yelena Belova Breaks Bad

Florence Pugh's Yelena Belova was an extremely likeable character, but also one who had only just escaped her Red Room programming. Black Widow's post-credits scene even revealed that she'd become an assassin for Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, so why is everyone convinced she'll become a hero?

Yelena may have been manipulated by Val into targeting Hawkeye, but we're not expecting this Disney+ series to redeem the character. While it's hard to say how exactly Clint Barton will escape her wrath, it seems more likely that this Natasha Romanoff's sister will continue heading down the same dark path as her comic book counterpart, probably becoming a Thunderbolt or Dark Avenger.

That leaves the door open to redemption down the line, a more interesting approach to her arc than having her appear in Hawkeye and go from killer to superhero in the space of just 45 minutes or so.

Can't believe Mephisto didn't make the list.

I want to see Kingpin the most.

@Fogs - I reckon if he made a top ten Mephisto would have featured.

I don't think the tracksuit mafia and Jack are in cahoots. But I do believe that Kate's mother may have ulterior motives for Jack and his family while also having some ties to the tracksuits as the season progresses.

I mean a passing of the Hawkeye moniker seems most likely at this point.

I can totally see Clint retiring and passing on the mantle to Kate, and it would make sense, but I can't help but feel like I'd be disappointed - these first two episodes have already been Clint's best appearances in the MCU and have made him a far more enjoyable and interesting character than ever before... Not that he wasn't interesting or enjoyable before, but he was pretty easily overshadowed by other characters, and I love how much of his personality we're getting now.

The fact that this show is so clearly influenced by Matt Fraction and David Aja's run is perfect and makes it feel like the character is finally hitting his stride in the MCU, so I'd hate for him (and Renner) to be permanently retired. Take a step back and let Kate take the lead? Sure, she's already a fantastic addition to the MCU - but hopefully Clint will still be around.

I like the Swordmaster prediction, the others not so much. I'm just not gonna led myself get carried away in speculation again.

Only thing I say is that I hope to see both Hawkeyes get involved with the West Coast Avengers and Young Avengers respectively.

I'm surprised Wilding isn't predicting a Mephisto appearance. That seems to be the case with Every new series.

I think Jack Duquesne is a former agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. So Jack and Clint are old friends. Many people think that Jack will become Swordsman in the future, but maybe that was his past.

After the fall of S.H.I.E.L.D., he meets Eleanor Bishop.

@Repian - I love this idea. Total misdirect that Jack is a bad guy, when actually he's undercover, trying to 'unmask' Elanor, who is the real big bad. Armand also says to her that he has powerful friends (perhaps meaning Fisk), and if she is the one who killed Armand, then that would put her directly at odds with Kingpin.

I recently had a chance to speak with someone that works at Marvel and knows what is going on. And, based on our conversation, I have serious doubts now about predictions 3 and 1 on here.
