After a lengthy wait, Hot Toys has finally announced a sixth-scale figure for Hailee Steinfeld's fan-favorite archer, Kate Bishop, from Marvel Studios' Hawkeye.
Based on the prototype photos, the figure is undoubtedly stunning, but the head sculpt does leave something to be desired. While it does resemble Steinfeld, its initial design seems to pale in comparison to their other Marvel figures. Whether Hot Toys will improve upon this first look remains to be seen, but it'll likely be well over a year before we get any real update.
Bishop will also include a wood grain patterned bow, arrows with interchangeable trick heads, an arrow quiver, and a figure stand for display.
With Kate Bishop unveiled, it seems like it'll only be a matter of time before we get an announcement for a new Clint Barton (Jeremy Renner) figure and possibly a second Yelena Belova figure, although that's probably a long shot. Figures for Echo (Alaqua Cox) and Kingpin (Vincent D'Onofrio) also seem likely, but those are probably slated to arrive with the Echo Disney+ series.
We should also expect more Spider-Man: No Way Home announcements in the not-so-distant future, and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness figures are also likely right around the corner.
The sixth-scale Kate Bishop Hot Toys figure is now available to pre-order on Sideshow.
