Whether you loved the first season of Iron Fist or hated it, the show is returning with a second season which will begin shooting in New York City this fall.

Early December will see Finn Jones, Jessica Henwick and co. begin shooting for season 2 of the Marvel Comics-based series. Regardless of the negative criticism that the show received, it will continue on with a new show-runner. Previous Iron Fist writer will be taking over Inhumans from current series writer, Scott Buck.

It's predicted that Iron Fist will be aiming for a late 2018 to early 2019 release, which fits in with the development of Jessica Jones season 2 which wrapped up several months ago. Daredevil season 3 is set to begin filming next week, and Luke Cage is currently in production. The newest addition coming to the Netflix/Marvel shows will be The Punisher, which premieres in less than a week on November 17, which has Jon Bernthal reprising his role as Frank Castle.
