LOKI TV Spot Reveals That The Clock Is Ticking For The God Of Mischief And The Time For Glory Is NOW

Marvel Studios has released another TV spot for Loki ahead of its June 9 premiere, and as well as featuring plenty of new footage, it makes it clear that the clock is ticking for the God of Mischief...

Loki is fast approaching, and Marvel Studios has reminded us of that with a surprise TV spot on an otherwise sleepy Sunday. There's plenty of new footage here, and a brilliant tagline: "The time for glory is NOW." However, it sounds like the clock is ticking for the villainous God of Mischief.

What that means for Loki remains to be seen, but we know his escape from 2012 has caused serious problems for the Marvel Cinematic Universe's timeline. It also means, for this Loki, the events of Thor: The Dark World, Thor: Ragnarok, and Avengers: Infinity War never happened. As a result, he hasn't been redeemed and is the same villain who tried to conquer Earth at this point.

The new footage here looks amazing, anyway, and more will hopefully be revealed soon!

In Loki, the imperious God of Mischief, who, after absconding with the Tesseract, is a fish-out-of-water when he lands in a world of trouble with the bureaucratic TVA (Time Variance Authority) steps out of his brother’s shadow in a new series that takes place after the events of Avengers: Endgame.

Tom Hiddleston returns as the title character, joined by Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Wunmi Mosaku and Richard E. Grant. Kate Herron directs Loki, and Michael Waldron is head writer. Recently, we learned the show will premiere on Disney+ on June 9th, 2021.

This looks so much fun!

But yeah, just like the tv spot said, hopefully they will take things seriously, at least when it comes to the Multiversal/different timelines shit.

Screwing up the timeline/continuity is a job best served by the Homo Superior.

I mean, it's inevitable, but like....just wait for them, after all...they're just around the corner! :3

F9 Sets New Pandemic Box Office Benchmark with $162.4M Overseas Debut.

@DoubleD - F9 clocked in the biggest international debut for a Hollywood title during the pandemic, earning $162.4 million from only 8 overseas markets in its first weekend in release and nearly doubling Godzilla vs. Kong‘s debut in the same markets. Imax screenings contributed $14 million of that figure, the second-highest May opening for a title in the premium format behind Captain America: Civil War—which had the advantage of opening in 26 additional markets in its 2016 debut.

This will be the first Disney+ show I am going to wait until all episodes become available. It's a bit hype killing waiting week after week especially when some episodes of the prior felt more like fillers than anything.

Off topic but I’m halfway through the first episode of M.O.D.O.K and I won’t lie, this is a hard to finish show for me. Hope others can enjoy it more than I.

Kind of looking forward to this, even if I don't understand Loki being given his own show. Loki has never been an interesting character on his own in the comics without Thor, the only thing the character has going for him is the actor who plays him. I have the same faith in this as I do Doctor Strange 2 being both are are being written by an inexperienced comedy writer.
