5. New Talent Added To Marvel's Disney+ TV Shows

Discussing Film has shared production details for a number of upcoming Marvel Studios TV shows, and some great talent has been added to Moon Knight, Hawkeye, and Ms. Marvel

For Moon Knight, Gregory Middleton (Watchmen) will serve as the show's cinematographer, while Morbius production designer Stefania Cella has also boarded the series. Hawkeye also has a cinematographer in Eric Steelberg (Ghostbusters: Afterlife), as does Ms. Marvel. For that highly anticipated series, Carman Cabana (High Fidelity) will lend her talents to Kamala Khan's world.

As per usual, Marvel Studios has attracted plenty of top tier talents to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

4. Production On Loki Is Nearing Completion

Clarin recently caught up with Executive Vice President of Marvel Studios, Victoria Alonso, and asked for an update on the TV shows coming to Disney+ which are currently in production.

Confirming that work is done on The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, she noted that WandaVision is "almost, almost, almost finished," while confirming that Loki has just "four to five weeks" of shooting left. Thankfully, that should mean we get to see the series on Disney+ next year as planned.

Unfortunately, there's still no word on what's happening with that What If? animated series.

3. MCU Concept Artist Andy Park Shares Some WandaVision Artwork

Marvel Studios concept artist Andy Park has revealed that the stars of WandaVision, Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany, have sent him a cast and crew hoodie with some pretty cool artwork on it.

With any luck, this sort of imagery will adorn merchandise when the show debuts on Disney+ on January 15th, next year. That premiere date was confirmed yesterday, and while many fans are disappointed that they'll have to wait until next year to see the show, it's just good to know when it's coming!

Still, it hurts that 2020 will be the firts year since 2009 that we're getting no new MCU content...

2. Robert Downey Jr. Dons The Infinity Gauntlet

This weekend, Metallica is hosting a benefit concert to support communities in need during the COVID-19 pandemic. Among the guests set to appear is Avengers: Endgame star Robert Downey Jr.

To promote the event, the actor shared a video on his Twitter account which ends with him donning a Marvel Legends Infinity Gauntlet. Luckily, this one doesn't have a negative effect on him!

Oh, and talking of the beloved actor...

1. Iron Man Isn't Returning To The Marvel Cinematic Universe

In that same interview with Clarin, Executive Vice President of Marvel Studios, Victoria Alonso, was also pushed to answer whether Robert Downey Jr. could return to the MCU as Tony Stark.

However, as you might expect, she said that they "don't have any plans" for more Iron Man.

"Tony Stark is dead. And that's our story," Alonso exclaimed. "Resurrection, I do not know how we would do it. It seems to me that the story of Tony Stark is told by us. Hence, he has left his inheritance, who he is for example in Spider-Man, because Peter Parker has been a false son, so you see a lot of what Tony Stark would have been in Peter Parker. And it seems to me that you see that constantly in how one person influences the other. At the moment, we don't have any plans."

If those comments sound a little weird, it's because they've been translated from Spanish. However, you can quite easily get the gist: Iron Man isn't coming back and Downey is done as the character.
