If you've been counting down the days to Moon Knight, then we're sure you'll be glad to know that there are now only 30 days left until the first episode arrives on Disney+! Marvel Studios has marked the occasion with a countdown video (containing a few snippets of new footage) and a poster that puts the spotlight squarely on Oscar Isaac suited up as Mr. Knight.
While fans had hoped that version of Moon Knight might make it into the series, it appears he'll have a larger role than first thought. Many believe this could even be the character's permanent MCU costume, though it would be a shame not to put a contemporary spin on the classic suit that's been reimagined as having a seemingly supernatural origin in the show.
With only a couple of weeks to go before critics get a first look at Moon Knight, it shouldn't be too long before we get a much better idea of what to expect from this origin story.
The series follows Steven Grant, a mild-mannered gift-shop employee, who becomes plagued with blackouts and memories of another life. Steven discovers he has dissociative identity disorder and shares a body with mercenary Marc Spector. As Steven/Marc’s enemies converge upon them, they must navigate their complex identities while thrust into a mystery among the powerful gods of Egypt.
Moon Knight stars Oscar Isaac, Ethan Hawke and May Calamawy. Mohamed Diab and the team of Justin Benson & Aaron Moorhead directed the episodes (there's no mention of George Clooney). Jeremy Slater is the head writer, and Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Brad Winderbaum, Mohamed Diab, Jeremy Slater and Oscar Isaac are the executive producers.
Moon Knight premieres on Disney+ on March 30.
