Moon Knight fans have been anxiously awaiting a first look at Oscar Isaac in-costume as the titular antihero, and it's finally come our way courtesy of a couple of leaked images.
The first is a shadowy glimpse of the character that doesn't quite reveal the finer details of the outfit, but the second image is much brighter, and appears to have found its way online via some kind of Marvel/Disney+ show-reel.
These shots clearly weren't supposed to be released yet so we won't be hosting them here, but you can check them out at the links below.

The costume is a lot more comic-accurate (maybe even a little too comic-accurate?) than we were expecting, and appears to have split opinion online. Many assumed we'd see a few alterations to the suit to make it more practical/tactical, but it seems Marvel Studios are fully embracing the more fantastical/supernatural elements of the source material for this one, which is probably a smart move.
Marvel's Moon Knight has Cairo 678 director Mohamed Diab behind the camera, and we recently found out that the Disney+ series has also enlisted Justin Benson & Aaron Moorhead (The Endless, Synchronic) to helm additional episodes. Jeremy Slater (The Umbrella Academy; The Exorcist) will serve as showrunner, and is leading the show's writing team.
Plot details are still under wraps, but the small-screen adaptation is expected to stick pretty close to the basic premise of the comic, with Marc Spector, a highly skilled mercenary who has numerous alter-egos, channelling the power of the Egyptian moon god Khonshu to fight crime in LA.
A recent synopsis stated that "the action-adventure features a complex vigilante who suffers from dissociative identity disorder. The multiple identities who live inside him are distinct characters who appear against a backdrop of Egyptian iconography."
Moon Knight commenced production in Budapest in March.
