Variety has shared an "Actors on Actors" segment with Moon Knight and Dune star Oscar Isaac sitting down to talk with Morbius and House of Gucci's Jared Leto. Discussing their respective comic book roles, Isaac admitted that he wasn't familiar with Marc Spector before the part was offered to him, and referred to the upcoming show as a "limited series."

"I'd never heard of 'Moon Knight' before, and I collected comics when I was younger," he recalled. "I'd heard of 'Morbius,' but I’d never heard of 'Moon Knight.' I don't know how the process was for you, because it's a feature film, we’re a limited series."

Moon Knight being a limited series doesn't necessarily mean Isaac will be finished with the Marvel Cinematic Universe after the show concludes. Just like The Falcon and The Winter Soldier was a one-off meant to establish new status quos for Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes while setting up Captain America 4, i's likely this series will set the stage for bigger things for 'ol Moony moving forward.

As for the advantages of telling Moon Knight's story in a TV show rather than movie, Isaac added: "There was a lot of room to try stuff because there wasn’t the pressure that we got to make sure we make however many hundreds of millions of dollars on the opening weekend."

"So we could make it very point-of-view. We could make very weird decisions," the actor teased. "At the moment, at least - and I don’t imagine it’s going to go backwards - it feels like that’s where more of the risk is being taken because it can financially."

It sounds like we're in for a wild ride with this one, and we hope to see more soon.

Moon Knight premieres on Disney+ on March 30.
