SHE-HULK: ATTORNEY AT LAW - Crazy Rumor Claims Disney+ Series Will Introduce A Fantastic New MCU Superhero

There's a lot of excitement for She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, and a hard-to-believe rumour doing the rounds suggests the Disney+ series will introduce a fantastic new hero to the Marvel Cinematic Universe...

It's always worth taking rumours with a pinch of salt, but sometimes, even the hardest-to-believe claims prove correct. After all, did anyone really think Charlie Cox would get his own Disney+ series as Daredevil or that Harry Styles would play Starfox, for example, when those claims were first reported?

Now, though, we have a particularly bonkers rumour shared by CBR. It appears to have originated on Reddit or 4Chan (which says a lot), but if correct, we'll see another member of the Fantastic Four in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law

John Krasinski played a Mister Fantastic Variant in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, but this report states that Ben Grimm, a.k.a. The Thing, will be part of the show. This would mark the character's MCU debut, and could point to Marvel's First Family already existing in this shared world following the events of Avengers: Endgame

Speculation has run rampant for a while now that the team might have gained their powers during one of the Blips, and this could avoid the need for another origin story while also building excitement for the Fantastic Four reboot's eventual release.

What's particularly interesting about this is that The Thing is reportedly being played by How I Met Your Mother star Jason Segel through motion capture and VFX. Ben will supposedly be "fighting a defamation case" in She-Hulk, and does battle with The Wrecking Crew as well as sharing the screen with Jennifer Walters and Daredevil.

Bear in mind that a She-Hulk plot leak that was every bit as unbelievable surfaced not too long ago, only for the first trailer to confirm much of what it claimed (such as Frog-Man's appearance and Wong's now confirmed supporting role). Whether this story is accurate remains to be seen, but it's certainly a fun one to speculate about!

The Fantastic Four's MCU debut is long overdue, anyway, and as they bring characters like Galactus and Doctor Doom with them, their presence promises to be a total game-changer. Only time will tell whether that ultimately includes an appearance from The Thing as early as next month.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law premieres on Disney+ on August 17.

Think it's a smart move to introduce characters from the Fantastic Four and X-Men in other projects first, as their respective movies are probably years away.

Anyway, I wouldn't mind this. Like the casting too. Think it could work.

This seems to be the most 'interconnected' Disney+ show by far.

@Orphix -
It's a lie. It's an attempt to market a series that's not getting the buzz they hoped for.

Hmmmm, for some reason I kind of want to see the origin of the MCU F4. So personally this feels like jumping the gun a bit. But I guess they could always do a flashback in the film explaining what happened.

Inspired choice. He can be anyone of any age really, but Segel has good height. He's also at an age where it would be easier to beleive a bromance with Krasinki's Reed. I REALLY hope he comes back.

@UnderBelly - Looks like we might be seeing him rock up at SDCC this year.

@UnderBelly - Indeed he has the height. Good actor, and well liked by audiences in their 30s and 40s who remember him 10 to 20 years ago when Jason's career was more active. I think this rumor has legs.

Not buying it. Seems hard to believe one of the characters people will have the highest curiosity on the new F4 rendition would be anticipated like that.

Heard this a few days ago, but still nothing more than an interesting rumour at this point. Wouldn't be against it though. As with all things, time will tell.

This is how it starts. Someone makes up something on reddit or twitter. Then that turns out to be false, everyone is disappointed and blames Marvel Studios for it.
