In "Rumor Mill," we share the hard to buy rumours that don't come from reliable sources like the trades, but are still more believable (just) than what you might find on Reddit.
The trades have yet to weigh in on the matter, but several reliable online scoopers claim Daredevil star Charlie Cox will reprise the role of Matt Murdock in Spider-Man: No Way Home. He'll reportedly serve as Peter Parker's lawyer after the hero was framed for Mysterio's murder and the attack on London, but won't be suiting up as the MCU's Man Without Fear.
However, popular YouTuber Grace Randolph (who has a spotty track record, but did recently share reliable inside information on trailer releases and the Snyder Cut of Justice League) is reporting that we'll see Cox as Matt in Disney+'s She-Hulk, and the actor will once again don the horns as a new-look Daredevil for the MCU.
This is a rumor that's been doing the rounds online for several months, but Randolph becomes the latest person to "confirm" the news.
It certainly makes sense to reintroduce Daredevil in this way, and we're obviously not banking on his adventures on Netflix being referenced in any way if these two cameos do indeed happen. Hopefully, the plan is to set the stage for Matt to return in a new movie or TV series of his own.
