Marvel Studios has released a new TV spot for She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, and it features the MCU debut of Porcupine! Who? Well, even the biggest comic book fans among you may not instantly recognise him.
Introduced in the pages of Tales to Astonish in October 1963, a couple of different characters have held the mantle, though we'd bet on this being Roger Gocking. A pretty terrible supervillain, he'd later begin attending Super Villain Anonymous meetings and managed to reform. Later, he'd become one of Spider-Woman's closest allies...and her nanny.
It looks like he's part of a similar group in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law as Emil Blonsky is also on hand. Has The Abomination really reformed or is he playing Jennifer Walters for a fool? That remains to be seen, but we find it hard to believe he's actually turned over a new leaf.
This promo also teases Jen's dating life and shows The Hulk (He-Hulk) being thrown through the sky by his cousin. She appears to be quite a bit more powerful than the Avenger, and that could definitely be a game-changer for the MCU moving forward.
She-Hulk: Attorney at Law follows the hero as she navigates the complicated life of a single, 30-something attorney who also happens to be a green 6-foot-7-inch superpowered hulk.
The nine-episode series welcomes a host of MCU vets, including Mark Ruffalo as Smart Hulk, Tim Roth as Emil Blonsky/the Abomination, and Benedict Wong as Wong. Along with Matthews, the supporting cast also includes Ginger Gonzaga, Josh Segarra, Jameela Jamil, Jon Bass, and Renée Elise Goldsberry.
She-Hulk: Attorney at Law premieres on Disney+ on Thursday, August 18.
