Ben Barnes' Billy Russo was a highlight of The Punisher's first season and following a violent confrontation in the finale, the stage was clearly set for him to become Jigsaw. Unfortunately, the villain won't go by that moniker in season two and, well, his scars really aren't all that bad (and let's face it, even with them, he's probably still the most handsome cast member).

Regardless, a new motion poster offers a look at his transformation and fans are bound to have something to say about the decision to cover Jigsaw's face with a pretty creepy looking mask.

Despite the news that The Punisher will start streaming its second (and presumably final) season on January 18th, not much is known about what's to come and it will be interesting seeing if it's able to live up to its predecessor and whether or not the stage will be set for more adventures which are unlikely to become a reality now.

Big fan of both Billy and Bernthal, if they really cancel Punisher as well i'm gonna pissed af but not because i enjoyed S1 (i did) but because we won't see these actors in the MCU ever again.
Like, i'm sure they won't really acknowledge these shows, but they will "act" like they're part of the MCU and therefore we can't have the same actor playing 2 different main Marvel characters, which f*cking sucks, because having Bernthal as Frank Castle for 2 season of Punisher and 1 of DD means jack shit to me, when he could actually play Wolverine for years and years on the big screen.

@Doomsday8888 - they are gonna reboot all of the MCU characters eventually so they kinda can have two actors 1 part. They’d changed actors in sequels no one cares. That being sad hopefully won’t recast JJ DD punisher and Kingpin would be awesome to see these incarnations and more in a live action (done right) Defenders movie

@XelCorp - i'm looking forward to Punisher 2, and i agree with jigsaw but i'll give it a chance, i do feel that netflix is just taking a piss on this show just look at the poor marketing, they just walking a doomed man with this show, they already put the rope around his neck just to push himm off the cliff and let it hang over the ocean. Truly sad and petty from them imo.

I was pissed that we wouldn't get a messed up jigsaw, but i've been watching some videos on The Punisher's instagram that actually made me change my mind a bit, the mask looks f**kn good anyways and it might be instresting to see how they tackle jigsaw, the way they going in the show. Looking forward to that.

Matches up with what I learned from the first season and all the other Netflix shows: That the creators are allergic to comic accurate looks and costumes.

Lol Jigsaw gets a Mask before Iron Fist. Good riddance to all this besides Daredevil who I'm still bummed to see go. He's psychologically broken because they worked a miracle on his face after it was pulp. Gtfo. The performance will still be good I'm sure but first season we barely get Frank as the actual Punisher, now this.
