Although Ben Hargreeves (Justin H. Min) was killed off before the events of The Umbrella Academy season 1 began to unfold, his ghost stuck around to communicate with Klaus, aka The Séance. Even Ben's spirit appeared to be vanquished in the season 2 finale, but the gang then encountered a very-much-alive incarnation of their brother when they travelled to an alternate reality.
Confused yet? Don't worry, it'll all make sense when season 3 kicks-off on June 22 (probably).

The season 2 finale of The Umbrella Academy (you can check out our review here) saw the gang successfully save the world (again) from Armageddon, but when they returned to their own timeline, they found themselves in an alternate reality with the Sparrows seemingly led by the now very much alive Ben Hargreeves.
The Umbrella Academy season 3 will consist of 10 episodes, with main cast members Elliot Page, Tom Hopper, David Castañeda, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Robert Sheehan, Aidan Gallagher, Justin H. Min, Ritu Arya and Colm Feore all confirmed to return. Steve Blackman is also back on board as showrunner.

Navigating challenges, losses, and surprises of their own – and dealing with an unidentified destructive entity wreaking havoc in the Universe (something they may have caused) — now all they need to do is convince Dad's new and possibly better family to help them put right what their arrival made wrong.
