ANDOR: Spoilers From The Season Finale Have Somehow Started Doing The Rounds On Social Media

You might want to start being very careful when perusing social media because spoilers for the upcoming season finale of Andor have somehow started doing the rounds! Find more details on that right here...

Andor is a prequel to Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (which was itself a prequel to A New Hope), so we obviously all know how Cassian's story concludes. Could that explain why Lucasfilm has been a little less careful than usual in protecting spoilers for this Wednesday's season 1 finale?

With still days to go before that last episode hits Disney+, various plot points and screenshots from the episode have begun surfacing on various websites and social media platforms.

We will NOT be sharing any of those here or over on SFFGazette.com, but it's worth being extremely careful online because some "fans" are, unfortunately, ruining many of the biggest surprises for others. It appears a member of the press is responsible for the leak as screeners for the finale have been sent out and the images cropped to hide the journalist's email address.

It's a real pity to see something like this happen, and it could well lead to Lucasfilm no longer sharing early screeners with critics. That was always the case with The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett, and Obi-Wan Kenobi, so we're not sure what changed with the critically acclaimed Andor.

With any luck, you can now avoid spoilers heading into Wednesday's finale as it's worth going in with fresh eyes. You'll want to check back here then for our recap.

The show presents Star Wars from a different perspective, focusing on everyday people whose lives are affected by the Empire. The decisions they make have real consequences, and the stakes for them - and the Galaxy - couldn’t be higher.

Diego Luna returns as Cassian Andor and is joined by cast members Genevieve O’Reilly, Stellan Skarsgård, Adria Arjona, Denise Gough, Kyle Soller and Fiona Shaw. The executive producers are Kathleen Kennedy, Tony Gilroy, Sanne Wohlenberg, Diego Luna and Michelle Rejwan. Tony Gilroy is also the creator and showrunner.

The season finale of Andor arrives on Disney+ this Wednesday.

Wait, you won't show the pics? Why not? The title already has the red spoilers in it. And you've blatantly revealed spoilers in the TITLES of past articles.

Josh, why are you the way you are?

@Origame - Because “Hamilton” or “Ruby” will be posting up the spoilers in completely separate articles very soon…But anytime someone points out the fact that Josh ~ his aliases et al. ~ clearly does this stuff to generate click revenue they get run over the coals…

@Origame - He takes the time to type up this mess, only to say he’s NOT going say anything about it. He’s trying to present himself as a legitimate journalist, meanwhile sources his own work on another fan-site; all while posting “exclusives” that he gets from Reddit. Definition of a wannabe.

We’ll see all the leaks from his various other aliases soon

@vegetaray - I for one won’t take anyone over an coals that acknowledges how completely ridiculous it is that he gets paid for this stuff.

@Taonrey - typical Josh-craft here. The best is when literally anyone says “critically acclaimed” and expects it to mean something.

I don’t know anyone who cares what critics (people who are paid to criticize), think about anything. Josh likes to assume he’s one of them 😂

@Origame - this how you can tell Josh likes the show, its like an excited kid telling his parents watch out for spoilers!

“SOMEHOW”?!? 😱 OMG whatever will we do? I guess this deserves the same “what a failure” complaint Josh, as your 9000th belated Black Adam diss post (most recently about an HD spoiler debut from Korea online).

This goofball thrives on drama. Just wait and his other various aliases will leak the rest LMFAO. Hack

Cool, tag Spoilers for the article and not give out any spoilers, where were these warnings for literally everything else? Some of us dont care and like reading spoilers

You know a show is good when even a spoiler article won't give away spoilers. Best thing to have happened to Star Wars, Andor is. Looking forward to Wednesday

Thanks for making a warning article and not actually sharing spoilers. I kind of expected spoilers to get out as the episode was sent out a few days ago to critics (who have all said it’s an excellent finale) and that’s never a good thing! But yeah, Andor has been such a good show, I’m excited to see where it ends up!
