THE BOOK OF BOBA FETT Star Temuera Morrison Admits There Are Things "I May Have Done A Little Bit Different"

The Book of Boba Fett wasn't the Star Wars series some fans hoped for. Rather than showing the bounty hunter in his prime, the show was bogged down by flashbacks and Fett's attempts to take control of Tatooine in the present day. It wouldn't be unfair to say that the best episode was the one focusing on The Mandalorian, but would Temuera Morrison change anything?

"Feeling the love from all the fans, feeling that we've done something good and the reaction I've been getting from the fans is overwhelming," the actor admitted in an interview with Screen Rant (via SFFGazette.com). "[I’m] very proud, and just grateful for the wonderful opportunity to play Boba Fett in The Book of Boba Fett, to work with Ming-Na."

"[It] was a journey for Boba Fett, [from] where we'd found him and where we were taking him; the introduction of the Tuskens, providing that nourishment, that family environment," Morrison continued. "Now that I'm looking back at it, I don't know, it's just one of those things. Things are great when you look back, but there are some things I may have done a little bit different."

He didn't specify what those things might be, but, for the most part, The Book of Boba Fett was a fun ride.

In a separate interview with IGN (also via SFFGazette.com), Morrison discussed [SPOILER ALERT] his surprise cameo in the second episode of Obi-Wan Kenobi. The actor played a Clone Trooper who was begging for change, and he'd go on to confirm that the show marked the first time he'd donned that familiar armour.

Reflecting on how his head was placed on countless CG bodies in Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith, he added that "the only time I got to wear [physical clone trooper armor] was in that little [Obi-Wan Kenobi] cameo appearance." Morrison didn't elaborate on his role in the show beyond that, but it was a fun moment we hope is leading to him playing Captain Rex!

Do you think there was room for improvement where The Book of Boba Fett is concerned?
