Lucasfilm and Disney+ have shared a new TV spot for The Book of Boba Fett ahead of its debut on the streaming service next month. There's a lot of new footage in this 30-second promo, but nothing that really sheds much more light on the show's plot; like The Mandalorian, it appears this series is going to keep its biggest secrets under wraps and until it actually debuts each week.
That's not a bad thing, but we'd definitely appreciate a little clarity on why it will be worth tuning in beyond the fact that the spotlight is being put on a fan-favourite character like Boba Fett!
Perhaps that's enough! Eeither way, there's a lot of badass moments to enjoy in this sneak peek.
The Book of Boba Fett finds the title bounty hunter and mercenary Fennec Shand navigating the galaxy’s underworld when they return to the sands of Tatooine to stake their claim on the territory once ruled by Jabba the Hutt and his crime syndicate.
The series stars Temuera Morrison and Ming-Na Wen. Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Robert Rodriguez, Kathleen Kennedy and Colin Wilson are the executive producers. Karen Gilchrist and Carrie Beck serve as co-executive producers, with John Bartnicki producing and John Hampian as co-producer.
The Book of Boba Fett arrives on Disney+ on December 29.
