Venom: Let There Be Carnage is fast approaching, and Sony Pictures has now shared a new TV spot for the Marvel Comics adaptation. The focus is very much on the unique dynamic Eddie Brock has developed with his symbiote, and it's clear the journalist is no longer taking any sh*t from the alien!
In 2018's Venom, Eddie was very much in the passenger's seat, but they're not getting along in this sequel. That leads to what looks like a fun clash between the two, though the Carnage fans among you will be glad to know that there are some badass shots of Cletus Kasady letting loose here as well.
"Tom Hardy returns to the big screen as the lethal protector Venom, one of Marvel's greatest and most complex characters," reads a brief synopsis that was released on the movie's website (where you can now purchase tickets for the movie). "Directed by Andy Serkis, the film also stars Michelle Williams, Naomie Harris and Woody Harrelson, in the role of the villain Cletus Kasady/Carnage."
We recently caught up with Andy Serkis to discuss his work on the sequel, so be sure to keep checking back here for that interview - and our review - in the coming weeks (and yes, we talked Spider-Man).
As noted, Venom: Let There Be Carnage stars Tom Hardy, Michelle Williams, Naomie Harris, Reid Scott, Stephen Graham, and Woody Harrelson. It's set to be released in theaters on October 1, 2021.
