VENOM: LET THERE BE CARNAGE Cletus Kasady Concept Art Unleashed As Sequel Nears $400 Million Worldwide

Some new concept art for Venom: Let There Be Carnage has been released showcasing Cletus Kasady's monstrous alien suit, including keyframes from the prison break and epic final battle. Check it out...

Venom: Let There Be Carnage exceeded expectations critically (it currently has a higher score than Marvel Studios' Eternals), but like that first instalment in 2018, it's proved to be a box office hit as well.

While the numbers aren't quite as strong this time around - primarily thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic - the Venom sequel just had another great weekend. With $205.4 million overseas as of Sunday, the movie is quickly approaching the $400 million mark at the worldwide box office with $395.8 million. The first movie made $856.1 million when it was released three years ago.

Tracking ahead of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Venom: Let There Be Carnage looks set to become the highest grossing movie of 2021. You'd think Spider-Man: No Way Home would be guaranteed to earn that accolade, but most of its box office haul is likely to be made in early 2022.

We'll keep you updated, but some new concept art from senior concept artist at Double Negative, Brandon Gobey, offers up a badass look at Carnage in action. We see the villain during both the final battle and that prison break sequence, and the latter is particularly interesting as it drives home the fact that Cletus was more symbiote than man (we're guessing that's how he'll eventually return).

Check out more of Brandon's artwork on Instagram or ArtStation. You can also find our recent interview with Venom: Let There Be Carnage director Andy Serkis in the player below!

How does that transprancy work though? Where is Cletus?
Also (not hard to notice) Venom gets stabbed atleast 17 times.
Yet nog punctures in eddies clothes

@OptimusCrime - guess the symbiotes break down their hosts (and cloths) down to a molecular level while still managing to retain the consciousness or something like that

those look better than the movie one. Still annoys me that they gave carnage a tongue in the movie.::

I finally got to watch the movie last week and I very much enjoyed it overall.
They didn't go far enough with the violence in my opinion, and the fate of Cletus' character wasn't satisfying for me, especially since he's basically the main symbiote villain out of all the Klyntar.
But I liked the fights enough and the Venom/Eddie dynamic was entertaining.

the movie was much better than the first one which was trash, though it still could be better, but i think carnage was about as good as it couldve be

Didn't have high expectations for it and was entertained. If anyone went to see this expecting more than 2 symbiotes fighting and campy humor, they set themselves for disappointment.

@Urubrodi - except there was barely any fighting between em. The only time they come face to face is the very end for a 3 min fight

@RokoVII - It was definitely longer than that, come on. But in any case the movie needs to do some set up before it happens though.

The final like 5 minutes of the last fight were a complete shitshow, with the villains grabbing the idiotball, Carnage growing huge out of nowhere, & the bad fates for the villains. Can't forget the 180 turn on the whole movies message about toxic relationships being bad that happened at the end of the 2nd act because the 3rd act had to happen. Honestly, the movie was a fun & very dumb popcorn flick for most of it, with something light to say about toxic relationships & having opposed goals with your partner, it just massively dropped the ball by the end.

What a letdown this movie was. Makes the same mistakes from the 1st movie, short and rushed and for some reason the whole movie takes place during night-time so cant tell what the hell is going during the big cgi fight. Not to mention the only time we see Venom in action is the very end during a 3 minute fight. Carnage completely underused.
