Venom: Let There Be Carnage lost its October 2020 release date thanks to the pandemic, but it's now been slotted in for a theatrical debut on September 24, later this year.
Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is also slated for September, and the first trailer for the Marvel Studios movie arrived online yesterday. Is Venom: Let There Be Carnage next?
Amit Chaudhari, a reliable source for trailer localization in India, has taken to Twitter to reveal that the teaser has now been translated in all three Indian languages. That means its official release is likely imminent, and we could see it online as soon as this week. Sony Pictures will be keen to avoid it leaking online, of course, so don't expect to wait too long.
The first look at the Venom sequel is long overdue, especially as we're all anxious for a Carnage reveal.
When ComicBookMovie.com's Josh Wilding spoke to director Andy Serkis earlier this year, he said that Venom: Let There Be Carnage is a film, "I’m super excited about it...it’s not something I can particularly talk about right now because we’re saving it for when everybody can go and enjoy it in the cinema. I don’t want to blow it or talk about it too much before then, but I’ve had a ball working on that film. It’s been great."
