There are less than 7 days before Venom: Let There Be Carnage is unleashed on North America, and the Sony Pictures Canada YouTube account just dropped a whole host of TV spots on their channel.
Most are made up of familiar footage, but we've singled a few out that highlight some fun moments with the symbiote. As you can see, he finds himself in the midst of a party and appears to be enjoying his newfound fame...and glow sticks! The anti-hero even drops the mic at one point, and it's fair to say we never expected Venom to look like this in Andy Serkis' Marvel Comics adaptation.
One thing you might notice is that Sony seems to be doubling down on those Twitter reactions from fans who attended an early screening in London a couple of weeks ago. It's strange to see fan reactions used to market a blockbuster like Venom: Let There Be Carnage, and so far, there have been no social reactions from critics (only one Tweet from Sony Pictures UK offers an idea of what to expect).
The review embargo lifts at 6am PT next Thursday, September 30, so there's not too much time left until we get a better idea of what to expect from the Venom sequel.

"Tom Hardy returns to the big screen as the lethal protector Venom, one of Marvel's greatest and most complex characters," reads a brief synopsis that was released on the movie's website (where you can now purchase tickets for the movie). "Directed by Andy Serkis, the film also stars Michelle Williams, Naomie Harris and Woody Harrelson, in the role of the villain Cletus Kasady/Carnage."
As noted, Venom: Let There Be Carnage stars Tom Hardy, Michelle Williams, Naomie Harris, Reid Scott, Stephen Graham, and Woody Harrelson. It's set to be released in theaters on October 1, 2021.
