The Mortal Kombat: Legacy continues in Season 2 as Liu Kang, Kung Lao, Kenshi, and Ermac join the ranks. The rivalries and histories of these fierce warriors will unfold as Raiden and his recruits clash against the dark forces of Outworld. The epic battle for Earthrealm has finally begun.

Mortal Kombat: Legacy season 2 will consist of 10 episodes written by director Kevin Tancharoen, Josh Baizer and Marshall Johnson. Episodes will premiere exclusively on Machinima’s YouTube channel via Warner Bros. Digital Distribution. The Bandito Brothers have replaced Goldtooth Creative as the primary vfx provider. Characters confirmed to appear include Liu Kang (Brian Tee), Kung Lao (Mark Dacascos), Scorpion (Ian Anthony Dale), Sub-Zero ( Harry Shum, Jr), Stryker (Eric Jacobus), Kitana (Samantha Jo), Mileena (Michelle Lee), Raiden (David Lee McInnis), Ermac (Kim Do Nguyen), Kenshi (Dan Southworth), Johnny Cage (Casper Van Dien) and Shang Tsung (Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa).

Are you serious!! These episodes were boring as hell! There was a 2 minute fight for every 2 episodes. This About season one, each episode was chocked full of action. If I am watching a Mortal Kombat Web series, you better believe I want action.

Season 2 isnt bad, it just spent way too much time setting up the grudge matches for the tournament instead of the actual fighting in the tournament. Season 3 HAS to be ALL tournament starting with Liu vs Lao

As a die-hard fan of MK since the beginning, I hated this series. First two episodes of season 1 were interesting but then it went all down hill after that, in my opinion.

This series just takes itself WAY too seriously and it ends up coming of lame.

Haven't gotten a chance to check out season 2 but it is cool that Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa is back as Shang Tsung

As a die hard MK fan. Tancharoen has none of my respect for Rebirth. Season 1 and 2 are good for what they are, style over substance. Which is not Mortal Kombat. I like that it takes itself seriously with some humor but it falls flat miserably. Not to mention as an adaptation of sorts of the MK property, this sucks big donkey dick. Cancel the web series and get someone with talent (David Slade) to direct it. It's like he didn't learn from Mortal Kombat: Annihilation. [frick] Tancharoen. I could probably write up 10 pages that's better than this entire wb series. Could but, I don't have the time anymore.

It was really good, but too damn short. I like where they're going with this. Unfortunately, not feeling this Johnny Cage. I want the other one back.

Wikwakd: No, I was saying I could probably write 10 pages that's better than this entire series. Also, the original MK wasn't style over substance. Is it deep? Hell no. It gave us the basic MK plot with enough development to get us by with likable characters, interesting characters and fun action scenes. Acting wasn't the greatest, visual effects suck and some of the dialogue was cheesy but it's sure as hell better than the shit Tancharoen has coughed up and anyone who approves of Mortal Kombat: Rebirth is a moron. A good action scene and that's it. He completely shit all over the franchise with that pile of shit. I hope the reboot stays in development hell and never gets out as long as he's the director. Am I a film expert? No but, I'd rather haw my favorite franchise die with dignity and while it's still Mortal Kombat cause this isn't. No, I'm not being pissy, it's just my thoughts I am putting out there.
