Rise of the Tomb Raider is an upcoming sequel to the 2013 Tomb Raider reboot. Set some time after the events of the first game, the E3 2014 teaser featured Lara undergoing therapy for the mental trauma endured during the first game, as well as cut scenes of her investigating a mountain vista.

Having first been released in 1996, Tomb Raider is quickly closing in on a 20 year anniversary. The godmother of exploration games. I've played almost all of them. This clip doesn't look 100% done yet and even as is it looks pretty incredible. Some things to tweak, clearly but overall, amazing.

Xbox has far more exclusives and Tomb Raider being released this year is an added bonus along with backwards compatibility. Proud to be an owner and can't wait for Gears Ultimate edition.

And Uncharted sucks and is a Tomb Raider rip off.

The original Tomb Raider and Uncharted where based on Indian Jones. The new Tomb Raider however reinvited itself as an Uncharted clone that plays like Resident Evil 4.

The last Tomb Raider was an amazing game and brought Lara back to some quality exploits. The xbox will get some good use in 2015 then next year belongs to my PS4 with Uncharted which has always been top notch gaming.

I actually preferred the newest Tomb Raider to any of the Uncharted games. A lot of that had to do with how well it was paced. The perfect balance of Action, exploration, and discovery for someone like me.

Original Tomb Raider is different from Reboot Tomb Raider/Uncharted. Reboot tomb Raider is clearly a Uncharted Clone.

My brother will probably buy it for PC in January then I'll play it as we share the Steam account instead of using that crappy locked PCs that most people call "consoles".

I liked the first a lot, I'm really looking forward to this one.

I really enjoyed the 2013 reboot, and I understand they want to make this series a more brutal and physical game, but the falls she takes are ridiculous. Surviving that car crash and then sliding down a rock face without your clothes tearing and your skin being torn. Not to mention the fact it seems she was unharmed by a military helicopter that completely destroyed a dude that was only inches from her (especially when she was the target). I only watched the first 1:52 of the video so far, but that slide down the cliff made me want to comment. Still going to pick up the game, though.
