Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order's Expansion Pass will launch next month. Nintendo confirmed that
Curse of the Vampire, the first DLC expansion for the co-op action-RPG, will be available on September 30.
Curse of the Vampire is one of three DLC packs set to release for
Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 through the Expansion Pass. It will add for new playable characters from
Marvel Knights: Moon Knight, Blade, Punisher, and Morbius. The DLC will also add a new Gauntlet Mode featuring a series of intense co-op missions playable with up to four characters, an Endurance Mode, and mysterious new Infinity Rift.
Prepare for Marvel Knights: Curse of the Vampire! This DLC pack, part of the MARVEL ULTIMATE ALLIANCE 3: The Black Order Expansion Pass, will add Blade, Moon Knight, Morbius and The Punisher as playable characters. In Gauntlet Mode, up to four players* take on an intense series of co-op challenges in rapid succession to earn rewards. Players can find out how long they can last in Endurance Mode and see how high they make it on the online ranking board, then discover a mysterious new Infinity Rift.
While
Curse of the Vampire is the first paid-for DLC for
Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3, it will be preceded by some free DLC that makes Colossus and Cyclops - who were merely ally NPCs in the base game - as playable characters. This free DLC update will release on August 30.
The Expansion Pass will also eventually add more
X-Men characters plus the
Fantastic Four (presumably all four original members) in the coming months ahead.
