Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order, the third installment in the acclaimed action role-playing franchise, launched today on the Nintendo Switch. The highly anticipated release was celebrated with a launch trailer that highlights the game's massive roster and exhilerating action.
Developed by Koe Tecmo's Team Ninja, 
Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 is set in an entirely different universe than the previous two games, with a plot inspired by the 
The Infinity Gauntlet. With Thanos and his ruthless band of Warmasters tracking down the six Infinity Stones, heroes from across the universe will have to team-up to stop them and prevent galactic destruction.
Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 features the largest collection of playable heroes in franchise history with members from the 
Avengers,
 Guardians of the Galaxy,
 X-Men, 
Inhumans, 
Defenders, 
Spider-Verse, and more coming together. The roster will expand further via a mix of free post-launch updates and the
 Expansion Pass. Previously announced, the $20 Expansion Pass will introduce characters from 
Marvel Knights, the 
X-Men, and 
Fantastic Four.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order was one of the games talked about during the Marvel Games panel at San Diego Comic-Con. Nintendo announced that 
X-Men characters Colossus and Cyclops will arrive first on August 30 as part of a free update. It was also confirmed that the 
Marvel Knights: Curse of the Vampire DLC - which releases September 30th for Expansion pass owners - will add Blade, Moon Knight, Morbius, and The Punisher. 
	
	
Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order is now available exclusively on Nintendo Switch. It currently 
sits at a 74 on Metacritic with "mixed" reviews from a total of 29 critics.
