Today Christopher Nolan
shared that he has no interest in being involved with Warner Brothers new
Justice League project. The decision came as a disappointment to fans because of Nolan's work on the Bat franchise as well as him producing the new Superman flick Man Of Steel. You can put one other name in the list of people who don't expect to be involved with the picture as well, Megan Gale. Gale, who was cast as Wonder Woman in George Miller's Justice League, doesn't expect to hear the phone ring with WB on the line to ask her to play the Amazon Princess.
“By the time they write the script and get it together, I don’t think they’ll be casting a 40-year-old Wonder Woman. Some hot 20-year-old will get the job. As they should. I’m cool with that,” the 37 year old model told
Moviehole. She is also curious who Warner Brothers is going to get to direct the film as well saying,
"If it is indeed back on, it’d be interesting to know who’s directing it – because George Miller is going to be busy with the new Mad Max film for the next couple of years.” She also expressed excitement for the new film, but also said she was disappointed the George Miller film never happened.
Gangster Squad writer Will Beall is writing the current
Justice League film treatment. There is no word on if DC is working towards a shared universe, but some speculation has put
Man Of Steel as the jumping off point for the film. DC is currently working on getting film adaptations of
Aquaman, The Flash, Green Arrow, Lobo, The Suicide Squad, Shazam and Wonder Woman of the ground to go a long with their
Justice League.
