WONDER WOMAN Star Gal Gadot's Time As Diana Prince Reportedly Over...And The Rock Is Likely Gone Too

Henry Cavill may have been the first to go, but it appears he won't be the last! Gal Gadot's time as Wonder Woman is reportedly nearing its end, while The Rock - and a number of others - are also gone.

The news that Henry Cavill's time as Superman has ended was not remotely well-received by DC fans, particularly as it came mere weeks after he announced his return to the world.

With a reboot in the works from DC Studios co-CEO James Gunn, it's become apparent he and Peter Safran are going back to the drawing board when it comes to the DCEU DCU. All signs point to a full-blown reboot, especially amid reports Jason Momoa will swap his role as Aquaman to play Lobo instead.

Recently, it was confirmed that Patty Jenkins' Wonder Woman 3 will not happen in its current form because it doesn't fit into DC Studios' plans. While no one has come out and definitively said the threequel has been scrapped, that's the current expectation, and scooper @DanielRPK is now claiming Gal Gadot's time as Diana Prince is at an end.

This means her final DCEU appearance is likely a rumoured cameo in Shazam! Fury of the Gods. On Friday, we learned Gadot has been cut from The Flash, though it's since been said only one of her scenes has been scrapped. We'll see.

While this is big enough news on its own, anonymous scooper @MyTimeToShineH is now claiming to have learned who is in and out of the DCU. It seems we'll be bidding farewell to the entire Justice League, along with Shazam actor Zachary Levi and Black Adam star Dwayne Johnson (no great surprise after recent events).

Here's where things could get controversial, though.

It sounds like Gunn intends to keep actors he's cast in The Suicide Squad and Peacemaker, something that's bound to only further incense fans of the Snyderverse. We're taking this with a pinch of salt for now, but it's a little odd to keep characters who starred in a movie, that while critically successful, was deemed a box office flop due to its dual release in theaters and on HBO Max. Fingers crossed the DC Studios boss chimes in to clear things up.

What are your thoughts on this latest DCU development?
