WONDER WOMAN TV Spot Provides Our First Brief Look At The Villainous Ares In Action Against Diana

Yet another TV spot for Wonder Woman has debuted, and this one gives us our first glimpse of The God of War engaging in a sword-fight with Diana. It's not much, but it's pretty damn cool...

Gal Gadot shared a brand new TV spot for Wonder Woman earlier on, and now director Patty Jenkins has debuted another awesome promo for the movie.

This one also features quite a bit of new footage, but the highlight is definitely a brief shot of Ares clashing swords with Diana. It's not a full-on glimpse of the nefarious God of War (in fact, we only see his arm and the side of his horned helmet), but it should be enough to satiate fans who have been waiting to see something of the villain in action.

Check it out below, and keep an eye out for plenty more from Wonder Woman over the next couple of weeks.

Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers…and her true destiny.

Wonder Woman also stars Chris Pine, Robin Wright, Danny Huston, David Thewlis, Ewen Bremner, Saïd Taghmaoui, and Lucy Davis. Directed by Patty Jenkins, the movie is set for release on June 2nd, 2017.

It's just his arm, not a big deal. We've already seen how he looks from action figures and he looks epic. Super excited for this movie!!

Looks amazing! I love the overhead shot of Diana is No Man's Land.

I don't mind the sneak peek at Ares, either. We know he's there.

This whole "she fights ares at the end" sounds very generic. I don't know how could they step away from doing that, but it sounds "specially" generic for this movie, very reminiscent of BvS.
