We're seeing an unbelievable number of movies and TV shows hit by COVID-19 delays, and movie theaters are starting to empty right into July. It was only a matter of hours ago that Wonder Woman 1984 was pushed from June to August, but there could be some good news for at least one summer blockbuster!

Deadline has revealed that, as of now, Christopher Nolan's Tenet is staying firm with its July 17th release date. The anticipation is that the global theatrical marketplace will be back to normal by then.

We can't say whether that will happen, but there's not a snowball's chance in hell that The Dark Knight director allows his movie to be released on anything other than the big screen. A delay is still possible, however, and it probably won't be until late May/early June when we have a clearer idea of whether Tenet will be released in theaters as planned.

In related release date news, Gal Gadot has taken a break from singing "Imagine" into her phone to share her take on Wonder Woman 1984's release date delay.

"In these dark and scary times, I am looking forward to a brighter future ahead," she told fans via her Twitter. "Where we can share the power of cinema together again. Excited to redate our WW84 film to August 14, 2020. I hope everyone is safe. Sending my love to you all."

If Tenet isn't moving for the foreseeable, Spider-Man movie Morbius is probably safe for now as well.
