Fans have been dismayed by the apparent absence of original X-Men like Cyclops and Jean Grey in X-Men:first Class, but a tweet from comic book writer Mark Millar (who of course worked with Matthew Vaughn on the movie adaptation of Kick-Ass) has revealed that we might just see him after all!
"Text from Vaughn about X-Men set visit. Family excited not because it's X-Men but coz wee guy from Hannah Montanna is Cyclops! Dare I say?"
I'm not sure what to think about this one. Could this just be Millar pulling our leg, or has he genuinely let slip a fairly big piece of news? With Scott's younger brother Alex, aka Havok, in the movie it's not hard to believe Fox will play with continuity to give the character a small role.
The other question is of course, who is this
Hannah Montana actor? After checking out IMDb, there are literally dozens to choose from, any of whom could easily pull off the look of a young Scott Summers. What do you think? Any ideas as to who it might be? Be sure to share your thoughts in the usual place!
