James McTeigue is NOT Co-Directing X-Men Origins: Magneto

The Ninja Assassin director (and rumored Superman relaunch director) denies being attached to Magneto.

Director James McTeigue, the man many believe may be helming the next Superman movie, was recently rumored to be in talks to co-direct X-Men Origins: Magneto with X-Men Origins: Wolverine director Gavin Hood.

However, McTeigue says that is not the case...at least, not right now:

"I think [screenwriter] David Goyer would probably be surprised about that, actually. I think that's just one of those rumors that kind of starts...Until [Hood] drops out!"
