Bryan Singer Teases Potential X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST Plot Point In BTS Image

The latest behind-the-scenes image from X-Men: Days Of Future Past, courtesy of director Bryan Singer's Twitter page, hints at "the gravest threat in our history" in a speech from (presumably) US President Richard Nixon.

Bryan Singer has been active on Twitter ever since he began production on X-Men: Days Of Future Past two months ago. In today's tweet, he posted the following behind-the-scenes image. It appears to be a set-up for a speech from the US President (Richard M. Nixon?), and the speech addresses an incident in Paris as well as facing "the gravest threat in our history". Could this be an attack from Magneto and his Brotherhood? Check out the image below, and speculate in the usual place.

X-Men: Days Of Future Past stars James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Hugh Jackman, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Ellen Page, Halle Berry, Peter Dinklage, Anna Paquin and Shawn Ashmore. The film is set to hit theaters July 18th, 2014.

Political assasination?
I hope they're not doing the Senator Kelly thing, like in the original Days of Future Past, because they basicaly dealt with that plot point in the first one, with the brotherhood kidnapping him and kinda killing him, only to replace him with Mystique (so that it didn't go all Days of Future Past).

SPOILER ALERT!

The movie will end with Mystique waking-up at home, then walking into the bathroom. There she will find Bobby taking a shower -- alive. It is then that she realizes that all of the movies were a dream.

With the green screen, it looks like the unveiling of the sentinels

I'm guessing after this the government approach Bolivar Trask, (Peter Dinklage), for a way to exterminate Mutants. That's when SETINALS comes in. So in the future Sentinals basically control the mutants so kitty pride goes in the past to stop the incident that happes in Paris.

Holy shit! I actually think Im close to whats going on.

so basically there was some incident in Paris that revealed Mutants to the public like 30 years earlier than it was planned. Tricky Dick allows Trask to go with the Sentinels program, and hunt all the mutants down. Wonder what incident was it ? Magneto killing someone ?

I don't care if its Marvel or DC, Disney or Fox, I am a big comicbook movie fan. I just hope Bryan Singer doesn't FRICK this up. Singer is not a comicbook fan (he doesn't even want them on set or his actors drawing inspiration from them). Singer also has no concept of how to do a have decent fight scene. The characters are always just throwing one another into a wall or parked car without a single punch being thrown.

I know people hate Nolan and Snyder, but Singer is a hack! I am pretty sure that is one thing Marvelites and DC Fanboys can both agree on!
