Latest X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST Production Tweet From Director Bryan Singer

In the midst of today's news about the future of the X-Men franchise, Days Of Future Past director Bryan Singer has tweeted another production still featuring what looks to be James McAvoy's Charles Xavier or Michael Fassbender's Magneto.

X-Men movie news has been active today, with an announcement of more titles expected at next week's San Diego Comic-Con (including an X-Force movie). Of course, Days Of Future Past will also be present at Fox's panel, which director Bryan Singer teased months ago. Today, he sends out another production still via his Twitter account, hinting at a meditation scene. It's hard to make out who exactly is the "Man On Wire", but it appears to be either James McAvoy's Charles Xavier or Michael Fassbender's Erik Lensherr/Magneto. Singer also confirmed yesterday that production on the superhero epic will last a couple more months. Share your thoughts in the comments below, and stay tuned to CBM for more news as we have it.

X-Men: Days Of Future Past stars James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Hugh Jackman, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Ellen Page, Halle Berry, Peter Dinklage, Anna Paquin and Shawn Ashmore. The film is set to hit theaters May 23rd, 2014.

@Spideyman yes he is... he's openly out and often talks about how his struggles with his sexuality and homophobia inspired him to make the Xmen films...

It most def looks like Magneto in a holding cell! Only question is how?! I remember how he was in that holding cell in X2 but that was after he was captured by Stryker. I'm assuming that he looses a battle in the past timeline against the X-Men in fighting him and Mystiques Brotherhood of Evil Mutants to stop the assasination which concludes with him ending up in a holding cell!

Man all of y'all trash talking about Singer need to honestly chill. Grow up, and if it's not the X-men movie you all want to see how about you all take some filming classes and set out to make your own adaption? No? Alright then, so sit back and watch Singer do his thing you'll all see the film anyway. And as soon as you all see the teaser trailer you all are going to sh** bricks! lol

Matthew Vaughn really should be directing Spider-Man.

Love the guys work.

Can I be a Vaughnite, or whatever ridiculous name people use to describe fans of stuff they don't like?

Nomis thank u for posting that X-men #1 from 1991 gatefold cover and sparking some positive worthwhile commentary. Jim Lee is my all time fave X-artist and for me really defined the characters's looks and mannerisms. The curves he drew on the female X-men were insane :)

Thank god comic book fans have Thor:TheDarkWorld,Captain America:TheWinterSoldier,Guardians of the Galaxy, Avengers2, Amazing Spiderman 2 and hopefully a sequel to Man of steel to look forward to instead of watching Fox and Bryan Singer totally destroying the X-men.

Singer could of made this movie without having to slap the Good name of the X-men on it.
Tell me how is this an X-Men movie, I see nothing that comes close to looking like X-men.
People fall and get excited for the fact that his characters have
the names of X-men.
and give up all expectation for a good X-men movie.
Matthew Vaughn actually gave us our first true taste of X-men.
Yes Singer can cry all he wants how he helped out Vaughn well
you should of kept helping not directing.

Brian Singer the butcher of X-films and Superman.
