X-Men: First Class charts the epic beginning of the X-Men saga, and reveals a secret history of famous global events. Before mutants had revealed themselves to the world, and before Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr took the names Professor X and Magneto, they were two young men discovering their powers for the first time. Not archenemies, they were instead at first the closest of friends, working together with other Mutants (some familiar, some new), to stop Armageddon. In the process, a grave rift between them opened, which began the eternal war between Magneto's Brotherhood and Professor X’s X-Men.




Starring James McAvoy as Charles Xavier, Michael Fassbender as Erik Lensherr, Nicholas Hoult as Hank McCoy, Jennifer Lawrence as Raven Darkholme, Lucas Till as Alex Summers/Havok, Caleb Landry Jones as Sean Cassidy/Banshee, Kevin Bacon as Sebastian Shaw, Oliver Platt as the Man in Black, Jason Flemyng as Azazel and Rose Byrne as Moira MacTaggart, X-Men: First Class is set to be released in the UK on June 1st and in the US on June 2nd.

Best [frick]ing cameo EVER, I don't care what anybody says I can ever get tired of Wolverine. Saw the movie this morning and it is by far the best X-Men film EVER

Went and saw it at the midnight screening. I honestly enjoyed this movie more than Thor. I expected this to suck when I first heard about it, then I saw the new trailer and got a little hope for it, I was blown away with Micheal Fassbender as Eric/Magneto. He stole the fraggin' show man! So did Mcavoy as Professor X.

9/10

GREAT movie!

I'd also like to point out that everyone in the theater laughed when Wolverine said that. Even heard somebody yell "perfect scene, ever"

This was the movie I have been waiting for.....It was MARVELOUs and Im going to go again tomorrow. Never a dull moment.

Honestly Thor didnt really do much from e it felt so rushed......This was smart and fast paced. the ending is just incredible. The 2nd installment will be even better. they obviously have 2 more movies planned out.

I proclaim in my opinion that first class is by far the best CBM ever! Im sorry but TDK was boring....I still cant understand why spidey 2 was so great...I hated it. Honestly I wish we had the original 5 but I will take it.

Everybody in the theater clapped & cheered as the credits roled. But They boo'd when everyone waited for an end credit scene and it didn't come! :P WE WANTED MORE!

I just can't say how much I digged Fassbender as Magneto. I really hope their's a sequel. Fox has made a great CBM!

...Just saw it, really [frick]ing good movie. really good. definitely the best comic book movie of 2011 (so far). Really gotta feel sorry for Thor. First Fast Five kicked it's ass and now this.. The movie everyone shitted on SHITTED on the movie every swore would be the best. [frick]ing priceless. Fassbender was amazing, so was Bacon.

it seems to me that fox think you can't have an x-men film without wolverine.

Who gives a crap, the audience loved it. I don't understand what the big deal is that he appeared in this. The GA loves Jackman as Wolverine. Everyone was yelling and cheering when he popped up, it was a great moment.

i would not praise FOX Studio they still an a$$ but i would praise Matthew Vaughn cause its a fact he knows the universe more then the studio and Bryan Singer.

it was just a reference, a little in joke. Plus, if you watch the film, the scene actually makes sense because of what they wanted to talk to him about. If the cameo wasn't included, the scene would've been too short and ended abruptly.
It was hilarious as well, so that's a plus.

@Xandera lucky for you then, it looks like there may be a sequel, and they wouldn't have him cameo again.
