Considering that most major studios have showcased visuals from their 2013 tentpole movies with trailers, before the New Year, Fox’s Hugh Jackman-starrer The Wolverine is considerably the oddball. However, as a potential substitute for a trailer, which director James Mangold is “thinking” will premiere next February, an awesome new international motion poster has just been released.

Based on the celebrated comic book arc, “The Wolverine” finds Logan (Hugh Jackman), the eternal warrior and outsider, in Japan. There, samurai steel will clash with adamantium claw as Logan confronts a mysterious figure from his past in an epic battle that will leave him forever changed. Also starring Hiroyuki Sanada, Tao Okamoto, Rila Fukushima, Will Yun Lee, Brian Tee and Svetlana Khodchenkova, James Mangold directs a screenplay by Christopher McQuarrie and Mark Bomback. And “The Wolverine” is scheduled for release on July 26, 2013 in 2D and 3D
