If you haven't caught up with the latest episode of X-Men '97 yet, spoilers follow.

The third episode of Marvel Studios' animated revival series, "Fire Made Flesh," is now streaming on Disney+, and the show has already served up some surprises with the introduction of Jean Grey's clone, Storm losing her powers, and Scott and Jean's baby, Nathan, contracting the Techno-Organic Virus and being taken to a future timeline by Bishop.

While fans of the Uncanny X-Men's comic book adventure will have likely expected to see at least some of these events play out during this first season, it sounds like one of the remaining 7 episodes will feature one major twist no one is going to see coming.

During an interview with Collider, Cyclops voice actor Ray Chase was asked if there's "a scene or an episode in the future where you're excited to hear the reaction from the people."

"For me, absolutely. It's maybe not excitement, it’s more just curiosity. There's something that we've been keeping from you guys for a while that I am just like, 'Whoa what is the reaction gonna be?' It's gonna be wild. I was moved when I got to that part in the script, and went, 'Oh!' It's pretty crazy."

When pressed for details, Chase changed the subject.

It might be worth keeping in mind that Chase did not provide the voice for Scott Summers in the original show, but he has done his research and caught up on all previous episodes, so he is almost certainly referring to something that wasn't in the '90s series (like the return of Cable, for example) of possibly even the source material.

What could this big twist possibly involve? Be sure to share your thoughts in the comments below.

Critics, who got to see the first three episodes, have been raving about the show, which had been sitting at a perfect 100% on Rotten Tomatoes since the review embargo lifted last week, and only just dropped to 98%.

The voice cast includes Ray Chase as Cyclops, Jennifer Hale as Jean Grey, Alison Sealy-Smith as Storm, Cal Dodd as Wolverine, JP Karliak as Morph, Lenore Zann as Rogue, George Buza as Beast, AJ LoCascio as Gambit, Holly Chou as Jubilee, Isaac Robinson-Smith as Bishop, Matthew Waterson as Magneto and Adrian Hough as Nightcrawler.

Beau DeMayo, who was recently fired, serves as head writer of X-Men ’97, while episodes are directed by Jake Castorena, Chase Conley and Emi Yonemura. Brad Winderbaum, Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso and DeMayo executive produce.

The titles for all 10 episodes were recently revealed.

While the titles don't appear to give too much away at first glance, some of them definitely offer hints at what the episodes in question could focus on, and those familiar with the X-Men's comic book history are sure to pick up on a few things.

For that reason, potential spoilers follow.

I wasn’t that big a fan of the original when it came out so I’m very surprised at how much I love this so far. Looking forward to next weeks Mojoverse and whatever twists they have in store.

Great episode. I really like how they evolved the series to be more mature. Pretty much like it's grown with the audience.
