It Seems Ben Hardy Will Play 'Angel' In X-MEN: APOCALYPSE After All
Though the initial story suggested otherwise, it now appears that former Eastenders actor Ben Hardy actually will be playing winged mutant Warren Worthington/Angel/Archangel in Bryan Singer's X-Men: Apocalypse. Click on for more...
When the Wrap broke the news that Ben Hardy had landed a "key role" in Bryan Singer's X-Men: Apocalypse, they specified that it would not be Angel he'd be playing. Most of us assumed they must have been mistaken with this one -- especially when Singer posted some concept art featuring the character -- and it seems we were right. Jeff Sneider posted the following update, all-but confirming that the young actor will take flight as Angel in the movie. We just need to wait and see if Apocalypse (Oscar Isaac) will get his hands on the lad and transform him into his Archangel of Death!
Directed by Bryan Singer, X-Men: Apocalypse also stars Jennifer Lawrence (Mystique), James McAvoy (Professor X), Michael Fassbender (Magneto), Nicholas Hoult (Beast), Alexandra Shipp (Storm), Sophie Turner (Jean Grey) Kodi Smit-Mcphee (Nightcrawler), with Tye Sheridan (Cyclops), Lana Condor (Jubilee) and Oscar Isaac (Apocalypse). The movie reportedly starts shooting this summer and will hit theaters on May 27, 2016.
